I stayed at bush village for 4 nights, the cabin was dry basic but you get what you pay for, all utensils were available also fridge tv air con as well as laundry facilities, there is a pool you can use free of charge. The owner arranged a free transfer to one of the trips I had booked and was...

Thank you for your honest review and describing the Bush Village as it is. We have other cabins for couples & families to suit all budgets. The backpacking cabins are very basic but have everything you need for your stay. The scenic bicentennial boardwalk hugs the coast & there is always something to watch like the boats coming & going,...

This is a nice little group of cabins, set close to a very convenient shopping mall and a nice walk from Airlie, along the shore on a very nice wooden walkway. It does get hot, though, but that is to be expected. The cabins are of two different levels, one slightly older and cheaper where I stayed. Nothing wrong with...

Thank you for your honest review. You describe us excactly as we are but we are a little confused about the bag storage as we have never charged a fee for this service since the first month of ownership 3.5 years ago. We are happy you enjoyed your stay & yes it does get a little hot in North Queensland....

The room was clean and big. The toilet and kitchen area was clean. The pool area is nice with hammocks, sun loungers and free WiFi. There are washing facilities and free luggage storage. If you are staying in a dorm or standard double - be aware that you have to pay extra for air con (I think it was $1...

Jude safed us! Music Festival and we didn't book a bed before. Actually the accomodation was totally booked out, but in spite of this she made a stay possible for us. She helped us with everything, even drove us to the tour-office and waited there to drop us off at Port Marina, and also helped us as we recognized that...

Owner is not at all flexible. We booked and paid two nights in advance. Despite his claim to book ANY tour, he refused to book the only 2 spots remaining on a sailing boat. He also refused to find a solution for an already paid following night that we would not use. For sure we wanted to come back to...

It is disappointing that you had such a bad time in the Whitsundays. It's even more disappointing you feel it necessary to blame me for your problems. You arrived with a prepaid booking with an online booking agent for two nights, after checking in you told me you would like to do an overnight sailing tour of the Whitsundays,to which I showed you...

We were looking for a place to sleep while we explore Airlie Beach, the surroundings and do a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef. The owners were very helpful and made worthwhile recommendations which we appreciated especially with us having limited time. The older cabins were still nice and very clean and the upgraded cabins had a fantastic wet...

Thank you for your review. We are most happy you enjoyed your stay. It was good to see your family out and making the most of what the area has to offer. The Bush Village is being continually improved when the budget allows but will always remain affordable accommodation. Happy Days Jude & Bryan

My experience with Jude and Brian was really rewarding. While I was there, I felt like they weren't treating me just as another guest, but as someone they really cared about. That feeling doesn't come just from the smile they give you when they attend you or from the conversation that comes out when they try to know a bit...

We booked a standard cabin at the Bush Village in Cannonvale because it was an attractive offer for a stay of 9 nights. We stayed in cabin 14B, which is a modernized, very clean bedroom with Airco, TV and fridge and adjacent a private bathroom with shower. The bed-linen and towels were very clean. We could use the common kitchen...

We stayed here last night just for an overnighter. Would have happily stayed longer. The cabin was spotless and had everything in it we needed. It's located near one end of the Bicentennial Boardwalk so an easy 3km walk to the Lagoon. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your review. We value your comments. Our aim is to provide quality budget accommodation without the frills. The boardwalk is the highlight of the foreshore in Airlie Beach. Absolutely beautiful. It is actually 2.3k's along the boardwalk into Airlie and 1.7 km's on the road which provides excellent exercise for the fitter persons. Jude & Bryan

We stayed here for a few nights and had a great stay. We had a three bedroom room to ourselves which was clean with really comfy beds and the softest linen! Thank you, we appreciate your review. We are slightly out of Airlie Beach but the scenic walk is worth it. We are constantly upgrading as the budget allows as we endeavor to give our guests value for money. Day passes and 10 trip passes are available for the bus so it cuts the cost.
