Tucked away amidst the Staffordshire hinterlands a quiet little bnb, resting on the old A50 away from the main highway is a small and relatively obscure resting station. I found the gables to be exactly what the website said. I sopke with the lady over the phone, she explained that its a converted old cottage so space isnt great. I loved the old beams walking up the stairs and found the whole place to be pleasant, and clean. My children enjoyed playing on the grass - (In January!)...

We stayed this weekend at The Gables with some friends, for a wedding we were attending locally. The lady was friendly, however the place is in real need of some investment/ repairs, it seems a bit uncared for.
