Excellent quality, very comfortable, extremely clean and well equipped. Simon and Angela were so attentive to all our needs. A delicious and generous breakfast with plenty of variety. Would not hesitate to stay again if visiting in the same area.

Beautiful Tudor manor house dating from the time of King Henry VIII with beamed rooms and huge fireplaces in the heart of unspoilt Suffolk. King Size room has a luxury private en suite bathroom with roll top bath, ...More walk in shower, washbasin and WC. Double room has a private shower room/WC immediately outside the room. A SINGLE ROOM CAN ONLY BE BOOKED ALONG WITH THE KING SIZE ROOM. IT CANNOT BE BOOKED SEPARATELY Guests have use of a timber beamed Snug lounge with woodburning stove and a large airy Orangery conservatory. There is a larder fridge and a microwave for guests. Unfortunately this historic house is not child friendly so we have an adults only policy. Our kitchen has the maximum official hygiene rating - serving finest quality locally sourced produce. Close to historic Lavenham and Long Melford, Ideal for cyclists and walkers.
