We spent the last 3 days of our safari trip at Mtito camp and it was the cherry on top of our amazing holiday. Since our arrival the staff was very friendly and doing everything to make us feel at home. The Manager also was very attentiv and even offered to change our tent due to some noisy neighbours.
The tents are specious and very clean, the beds are very confortable and there is always hot water to shower (you just have to wait a few minutes). They are located on the shores of Talek River. Every morning we heard the birds and saw monkeys on the other side. The food was also the best we had in Kenya. The Chef came after every meal to the table and even took us on a tour of his vegetable garden - everything they use to cook is fresh and organic. On the last evening we had dinner by the bonfire at it was a magical experience. There is also a very nice swimmingpool and the ride to the Gate of Masai Mara is only 20-30 min through bushes full of zebras and impalas.

Mtito safari camp is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Mara. My family and I spent three lovely nights here and were pampered by the kind and attentive staff. The chef prepared all of the amazing meals for us and we had the pleasure of planting two trees as a way to give back to the land. We had two security escorts to/from our rooms when it got dark. I really enjoyed sitting around the fire at night, listening to hyenas in the distance, as well as the sound of the river by our tent. We also really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the camp in trying to have less impact in the surrounding environment, including using solar power, reclaiming water, and not allowing music as to not disturb the wildlife nearby. I highly recommend Mtito camp for your Maasai Mara safari - and we hope to come back soon.

Amazing place to visit Masai Mara. Our family tent was perfect as we could be together. It took 15 min to the gate of the park but we could see elephants, zebras, giraffes, gazelles on the way… From the hotel you can also see animals on the other side of the river, while having dinner. The cuisine is delicious and the staff super kind.

Room Tip: Meals are so good but can be a bit slow. Go for your meals with a little bit more time than usual...
