We have been here on several occasions, it's great for a big group or for just the family, it's got plenty of space for the kids to play, they don't mind the noise if the kids are in a noisy mood. You always get a very warm welcome, a great choice of foods and wonderful puddings, I don't remember if...

We visited on Saturday with friends for a meal following lots of good reports about the standard of food and in particular the steaks. 3 out of our party of 4 had steaks, 2 of which were cooked wrongly. One sirloin was undercooked (a lot) which we sent back, (it was dealt with swiftly) but a fillet steak was overcooked,...

We used the restaurant, as local guests - Great food, excellent service and super alcohol :-) Suet Pudding was fantastic, steaks were perfectly cooked (pink!) and the menu had a good choice. We'll be back :-)

My husband and I booked for a short break and this lovely Inn. This is a family run business offering fantastic accomadation, which is truly the best. My husband is disabled and we were offered really suitable accommodation. Breakfast is normally served upstairs however, because of my husbands situation we had our breakfast downstairs. We arrived on Mother's Day and...

We all were sat in the large conservatory at the back of the pub.The staff were friendly and efficient the meal was prebooked as it would have taken too long...

Menu limited but what was on offer was very nice. The seafood risotto was excellent, but make sure they put the shaved Parmesan on as per the menu. Don't go here if you are starving, more quality than quantity.

We found the Crooked Inn to be ideal since we brought our dog and this place was VERY dog friendly. The bar and eating area was warm and cozy. Food was good and quick, even though there was a huge party upstairs. Not a huge selection but everything was tasty with good size portions. Since I was meeting my husband...

The good things about the Crooked Inn is that's a civilised place to go. The staff are very friendly and it's cozy. On a good night the food is very good. Not pretending to be anything other than good pub grub. On an off night its variable with dry suet puddings and a handful of over cooked chips. None of...
