As always we had a good nights stay, staff very helpful. A bit out of the way, but great to explore the local area. Subway and Burger king are on sight with a great Waitrose store within walking distance

In the area to attend grandson's passing out ceremony at HMS Raleigh and just needed somewhere to rest after a fairly long car journey. The approach to the Travelodge needs improved signage because on a dark, wet and windswept December's evening drivers would like a little bit of help. However, once that challenge was laid to rest, the chap at...

Visiting the local area sightseeing- this was an inexpensive stop over. Ticked the boxes- for a nice comfortable bed- quiet location- slept well. Newly decorated in the Travel Lodge new style. Practical- basic-adequate.

The Travelodge is not best situated and sits along side a huge car park and the dirtiest concrete terrace imaginable. Not the best of welcomes when entering the place. The foyer once contained other outlets (no longer there) and seems soulless except for the Travelodge desk. The lady on reception was very nice and we checked in in double quick...

Clean and basic is what one expects from such a hotel but oh, it's miles from any half decent eatery and due to its location, noisy Although a Subway is attached ... I'll leave it to you to decide if, after a day's travel, the delights and delectations of a sandwich is sufficient!

We have just spent two nights here, my husband and myself in one room and my son in another. We arrived just on 3 o'clock, and were met by a very friendly receptionist. For some reason we were allocated disabled rooms, which was a drawback.....my son on one occasion accidentally pressed the call bell! I'm not sure how travelodge can...

We were looking for a budget hotel for a one night stay. The receptionist was extremely friendly and was able to change our room allocation to a ground floor room which was better for us, The room was very clean and bed comfortable. Unfortunately there are no tea/coffee making facilities which we would have liked as we arrived too late...

A nice place to stay.I didn't expect to much but the furnishing of the room was up to date. The T.V. was nice and modern. All the staff were all pleasant. It does share a common entrance with other eating places which does bring it down but the hotel is good.

As a company I fail to see how travel lodge can attract new coustom if the standard they appear to set is so low . I have never had the pleasure to step into such a smelly room in my life as the one I was expected to sleep in ? I did not stay because of it . If...
