Easy walking distance into Bakewell town centre, across the road from the park. Offstreet parking is available as well as free wifi. Bonus is a guest lounge. Note that there is a narrow staircase to rooms, unless you book the king suite out the back. Freshly painted and new comfortable king sized beds, it was spotlessly clean. Rooms are not...

My partner and I booked a last minute weekend trip to the Peak District and one of the highlights was this guest house. Jeremy and Barbara were incredibly welcoming and Jeremy recommended some top places for us to visit and also some handy discounts. The room was spacious, spotless and well decorated. I highly recommend a stay here.

Less than a five minute walk from the centre of Bakewell with its own car park, this is the perfect b&b for visiting Bakewell or the surrounding Peak District. The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable with all the touches you'd expect in a homely, family run establishment. The breakfast was superb with a range of cereal, juices, yogurt, toast...

I can't add much more than what has already been said by others. Basically the location is great (few minutes walk into town), the hosts are very knowledgeable of the local area, rooms are clean, decent breakfast. Would stop again.

Stayed here for two nights for a weekend break. Room was lovely, clean and well-equipped. Jeremy & Barbara are lovely and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was incredible. The Haven overlooks the park and is a 5-minute walk in to the town. Highly recommend to all and will stay here again on our next visit...

Very friendly owners made us feel very welcome. Particularly good as they have a ground floor bedroom to offer which is brilliant for those less able to manage stairs though there are a couple of steps to negotiate so not ideal for those totally wheelchair bound; it has its own independent access in an extension on to the house, an...

We are a couple travelling by car through the UK. The B&B is located in what must be the best location in Bakewell. Across the road is the park with a footpath running along the picturesque river into the main town - a lovely walk of 5-8 minutes. Jeremy and Barbara are excellent hosts ready with advice and a good...

Booked for 2 nights in November. Really friendly hosts. The breakfast (Derbyshire Oatcakes) were fantastic. The room was peaceful. It's a brilliant location as the town centre is just a few minutes walk from the B&B. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be returning.
