Good hotel in great location. We were in Room 8, upgraded to 4 poster bed, well worth it. Room large and good views of town. Not noisy due to traffic but over bar and could hear it until 1pm ( only because a large group was in). Room clean and bathroom good and modern but beware if you are unable...

This was our first ever stay, for my wife and I, but it will not be the last. Our room was a decent size, and very comfortable. the beds where very clean and also very comfortable. The staff where all very polite and helpful. The food was excellent and also decent portions at all times of the day. The parking...

Our writers group meets weekly here and some of us can't resist arriving early for supper in the bar. The food is always good, the menu has been updated recently, and there's always a specials board to ring the changes. Speed of service does depend on how busy they are, but the staff are excellent.

The hotel is very easy to find in Bakewell as it overlooks the high street. Parking is very restricted and was the first hurdle we had to overcome. But its worth the hassle as the hotel is a delight. The room we stayed in had no view as it overlooked the rear of the hotel. The room was clean with...

Returned with our 12 strong walking group for a two night stay. The hotel has been great to deal with in sorting out rooms efficiently. The décor and service at the hotel seems to be growing year on year. Rooms were warm and comfortable, Bar service efficient and breakfast magnificent. We unanimously voted to return next year and when offered...

Very reasonably priced 2 night website deal with 1x 3 course evening meal included. We paid a extra £10 per night to upgrade to the "Turner Room" with 4 poster bed, so we weren't shoved in the back cupboard in true Wowcher style - well worth the money. Parked in the unmarked hotel car park (immediately across the road from...

We had a lovely twin bed room.nice and warm. The room was clean and cosy. The service was excellent and the food was great. I cant fault this stay at all. Thank you for a wonderful break. The hotel was in a good location to so many attractions and , it goes without saying , the impressive views of the...

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Rutland Arms Hotel. Good food, which arrived promptly; good room (12); clean and welcoming with friendly staff. The only thing which was annoying was the lack of car park space. The car park opposite for hotel guests was always full up and we could never get a space.

Stayed on a 2 night deal. Room was in courtyard and quite chilly as outside door was immediately next to our room and was left open allowing wind to howl under door. Radiators were not always on. Window slightly below road level so constant traffic noise. Room was clean and well provided but double duvet did not fit on the...

Three friends and I stayed here on a wowcher deal for two nights. Excellent value, good location of hotel. Rooms comfortable and clean. Dinner was great, and breakfasts also very very good. The staff were very helpful and willing to help whenever we asked them for anything. We certainly hope to return for another visit later next year.
