We stayed here for 2 nights and could not be happier with our choice of bed & breakfast. From the tea and perfectly baked sponge cake we had on arrival to the delicious breakfasts the food was excellent. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and it was really nice to have our own sitting room to relax in. Judith and Tim...

Conveniently situated just a short stroll away from the centre of Bakewell, The Garden Room is a comfortable two-room suite attached to the owners' home but with an independent entrance, so that you can come and go as you please. It's immaculately clean and well equipped, and the bedroom overlooks the beautiful, secluded garden. The owners, Judith and Tim, are...

We booked The Garden Room upon the TA ratings and the reviews are correct. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed talking with Tim and Judith who were a font of knowledge of everything to do locally. The bedroom was cosy but you could walk out onto the lovely gardens. The en-suite wanted for nothing and there was a...

We had a wonderful three nights in Bakewell. Tim and Judith were very friendly, and had heaps of advice about places to go in the area. We started each day with a good breakfast, and got a great nights sleep each night.

Choose the Garden Room and you won't regret it. It's clean, affordable, it offers much privacy. It is quiet and conveniantly located near the village centre and the main access road to other venues in the Peak District. There is a beautiful garden and the owners are friendly. We asked for plain yoghurt for breakfast and this is what they...
