Beautiful surroundings, warm rooms, comfy beds and lovely people. We had a really relaxing time and didn't want it to end. We stayed at Gratton Grange for its brilliant location being 10mins or less to Chatsworth House and Gardens for the Christmas Market and exhibition. Bakewell is also a 7min drive away for restaurants and cafes. The owners were very...

Wow, what can we say what a welcome, these guys are so laid back it's a typical Derbyshire setting, just chill. Lovely people, breakfast amazing, animals all friendly, and dog friendly, come and go as you please, rooms very clean and the nice thing no TVs in rooms, but strong wifi is available and tablet is available if you require....

I cannot rave about this place enough, it truly is a home from home. We arrived Friday night and sat down to home cooked food and great conversations with Rob. We also got our doggy fix as we met Tyson and Lola, the boxer dogs who just love people. Rob fixed us a cheeseboard using all locally sourced cheeses and...

We had a lovely room with a view of the farm grounds. It was matched with great hosts and wonderful animals (goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, horses, cats and dogs). This is a nice and quiet location, which is great to get away from the hustle n bustle. We enjoyed chatting with the hosts, and they recommended some great locations to...

Stayed for 2 nights here and so pleased we decided to book. Its a really, really good farmhouse B&B. Its the owners' home and they welcome you to their home with open arms and open hearts. Rob and Kate are excellent hosts, good fun and they set the scene for a friendly, relaxed stay. You share their home, your B&B,...

Rob and Kate are wonderful hosts and the setting is perfect as a base to explore Derbyshire. The room was spacious and although we didn't have an ensuite, it still felt private. Our gundog was even fairly relaxed given there were a fair number of ducks and chickens about. The grounds are large and there is easy parking, with room...

Rob and Katie were excellent hosts. Very welcoming and good fun. The farm is in lovely countryside - good for walks - and lovely views. Easy access for Chatsworth, Bakewell and surrounding district. Yummy breakfasts. The roads to the farm are all sealed (no dirt roads). We stayed two nights and wished we were staying longer! We would definitely return...

I just parked outside Gratton Grange B & B as it was a checkpoint for a Silver D of E expedition for my kids. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, numerous offers of tea, the use of their toilets for the kids and the bacon sandwich before my departure. I didn't stay overnight, but the level of hospitality...

Even called me to make sure we were on the right track and getting to the right place - Even standing out on the road to wave us in (As we were a little lost). Very clean and comfortable beds, Home from Home for sure. Excellent breakfast, even asked...
