I have stayed and eaten here on 2 occasions recently on business, admittedly the first occasion was during the beast from the east weather problems, so no breakfast and not great evening meals were understandable.
The second stay was 2 nights Monday 23rd and Tuesday...More
This may be the most up to date hotel but it is very reasonably priced, incredibly clean and the staff are wonderful. If you are looking for an hotel which is modern then it’s not the place for you. For everyone else it is perfect.

We’ve just back from spending the whole Easter weekend. I cannot fault the rooms and staff. My only negative comment would be the evening food is slightly overpriced for what you get. But like all hotels, they’re struggling to make a profit but 3 meals...More

I love this hotel, Northern Hospitality at its best. Lovely staff from the receptionists (really, really helpful), the manager who greeted me and sorted out the heating in my room and the lovely food (thank you chef). Its without frills, but like home from home,...More
Easy to find and helpful reception. Easy to park and check in.

Thank you for your enquiry Sheila. As a general rule, apart from guide/hearing dogs, we do not accept dogs. However, depending on circumstances, we do make exceptions and sometimes allow one dog in a room if the room is booked direct with us. If we do allow dogs, out of consideration for other guests, we do insist that dogs are not allowed on the beds, they have to be in their own cage and they are not left unattended in the room. I hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any more queries or would like to make a booking.
