Have been to The Methuen Arms a number of times and the food just keeps getting better. Most recently I enjoyed a fantastic confit duck potato cake and beef fillet, both of which were amazing. The staff are attentive but not intrusive, making a relaxed atmosphere. What I most like about this hotel is the attention to detail paid by...

After hearing people saying that the food is amazing at The Methuen Arms Hotel I decided to check it out. The food was exceptionally good without being being over the top and the staff were great. The service was attentive but not intrusive which is quite rare to find. Overall it is a great place and very good value for...

What a hotel - the rooms are chicly decorated, the food both at breakfast and lunch is fresh and locally sourced and to top it off the staff are really helpful and friendly. I'll be coming back as a leisure guest next time, this hotel is a real gem!

We could not have been looked after better. We enjoyed superb service and delicious food in a delightful atmosphere. The staff were all helpful, attentive and cheerful without exception, and nothing was too much trouble. The choice of food was extensive and used a lot of local produce, all beautifully prepared and presented.

This was my second visit to the Methuen Arms. Our room was attractively decorated and a good size with a decent bathroom, though the bathroom lighting was much too dim which was disappointing given the attention to detail elsewhere. I loved the digital Roberts radio. The room overlooked a courtyard so was free from the noise from the road, though...

We have eaten here several times, lunch as a family (with two small children), supper as a couple, in a large party or just popping in for drinks with friends. The venue is lovely with a warm cosy atmosphere, the service is first class and the food is always excellent. It is a friendly local spot with a special occasion...

Another enjoyable visit to the Methuen - a group of us stayed in well appointed rooms, nicely furnished with a mix of antique and modern touches - very comfy bed - lovely shower and beautiful 'Still' range of toiletries. Our meal was delicious as ever - and the breakfast menu is interesting and with lovely choices. The staff were charming...

There a number of good places around Corsham but this must be the best. Great food made better by the numerous intimate rooms which make up the restaurant. From the moment we arrived through every part of our stay the staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable and have an old world atmosphere perfectly complemented by tasteful...

We have stayed at the Methuen Arms twice before and always received excellent service and this trip was no exception. The rooms are well decorated and maintained and the staff are very attentive, friendly and professional. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant in the evening is really excellent. The place has a really good buzz - I cannot...
