This was our second trip to the Rudloe arms. My wife and I are already planning our next visit, even though it means a 240 mile round trip. we stumbled on the Rudloe by accident initially and we were blown away with it. I have to say that it has got even better with the arrival of the new young... More

we decided to make a bit of a weekend so that we could visit the Bath market, we hired 2 rooms that were in an annex building down the gravel drive, not very nice walking between buildings in the dark, rooms were dreary and poorly maintained, badly hung curtains, mould in bathroom, toilet running all night, no inter-room telephones or... Stayed with my partner for a birthday treat. Was expecting a good to high standard throughout as it's a Marco Pierre White establishment. Welcomed early evening by a very nice guy in main building and checked in. Then directed to annexe back down the poorly lit and bereft of signs driveway - felt like we were being turned away from... Amazing place !! The main building is so amazing such lush furnishing and amazing pictures! Feels like a luxury home away from home. The staff could not be more helpful and even hooked us up with our own driver ! (Taxi call Adrian ) will defiantly be coming back here next chance I get !

My wife and I stayed here for one night we found it totally enjoyable, the hotel is slightly eclectic decor in the main hotel which I understand may not be to everyone's taste but art is very subjective after all! We didn't eat dinner here but breakfast was absolutely delicious with very attentive staff. My only slight criticism is that... More

Main hotel is ok, difficult to see reception - hidden in a room to the side of the main door. I got a room in the annex - not far away but back down the drive and walking on chipped stones - very dark - gate not obvious. Room was ok, TV very small in such a large room. This... More

We stayed on a 2 night break which included breakfast ( best in a hotel in a long time)and dinner( again top notch) on both days. Our room was in 'Treetops' , a building set apart from the main house. the rooms were very comfortable and clean. From check-in to the small and cosy bar area to the restaurant ,... More

I stay at a lot of hotels as part of travelling for business and with family. This is the first time I've come across somewhere that has no cereal or buffet breakfast option. I simply had to choose a single hot menu option. This meant I had to wait 20 minutes to eat something and walked away still hungry when... More

We visited on a short weekend break to meet up with friends. What a stunning building surrounded by beautiful autumnal trees! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There isn't a bar, as such, to meet people but a comfortable lounge full of super black and white photographs of celebrities. Our rooms in the annexe were spacious and well appointed... More

Room was tidy although a little tired. (Broken draw handle and curtain rail with screws missing so hanging loose). Staff were friendly, chattu and happy to hwlp. We liked the layout of the hotel with different 'appartments' meaning no long corridors with umpteen people stomping past your room each night. Although we felt the reception could have been signposted and... More
