We had a fabulous stay here with our pug Percy! From arrival the staff were lovely, showing us to our courtyard room. We loved the quirky features like the vintage typewriter in reception and the cosy leather sofas in the snug. The hotel is an old model farm and has retained its character throughout its beautiful grounds. There are 11...

This is an excellent hotel in a lovely setting. Interesting features in the grounds. Marvellous food and friendly service. It is a good place for visiting Bath, Bradford-on-Avon and beautiful National Trust properties.

On arriving we were greeted by Nick who was friendly, efficient and attentive. We had a drink in the bar then went through for a delicious dinner. Our plates went back empty and we found the menu fresh, tempting and inventive. The wine was terrific and we followed up with a delicious white chocolate, coconut mousse and chocolate ice cream....again...

This was a treat for the two mothers with my daughter and her partner. We were made very welcome in lovely surroundings that weren't at all stuffy. After being seated at the table we were presented with a Mother's Day gift - a nice touch! The food was first class and, as a vegetarian, I was delighted with the imaginative...

This hotel is full of rustic charm, just on the outskirts of beautiful Bradford on Avon. We had our wedding here and it was a perfect day. The staff make you feel very special and catered for our every need. The food was superb and so was the wine. The whole Hotel is very tastefully decorated and has loads of...

Lovely location, posh hotel, friendly staff.... welcomed into conservatory , asked by polite staff what drinks we wanted, all perfect, till we received our 1 afternoon tea stand and realising after waiting for 2 more or 1 at least we had to share it , as we'd ordered 3 afternoon teas! Then thinking that we'd have to pay £18.95 x...

I had a night staying at Widbrook Grange Hotel. The room I had was lovely, situated across a small lawn in a converted out building. The furniture all fitted with the feel of the hotel and the little extras were great. The bed was HUGE and so comfy and cosy. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious with really friendly...

Staying Saturday night and going to a concert we did not try the restaurant, but the hotel provided a friendly welcome although they did not show us around the main building and were hazy about breakfast times. The main house and public rooms were well furnished with a rustic feel, however most of the rooms, including ours, are in a converted...

Dear Edward B, Widbrook Grange has indeed been transformed from a Georgian model farm into the rustic hotel that we are today, so you are correct that many of our rooms are in an old stable block, piggery and hay loft. We do also have four newly refurbished rooms in our main house that epitomise the Georgian farmhouse feel with...

This place has oodles of potential. Fantastic rooms with lovely beds and excellent quality linen; lovely teas and toiletries etc (shame about the uht milk) and beautiful decor. A slightly strange welcome by a young (perhaps rather inexperienced chap) who didn't give much information about the hotel/facilities/dinner/bar etc) - It seemed we did most of the talking asking these questions....
