Joy and Sim were truly the most welcoming hosts and incredibly helpful. Our original hotel let us down, so out of the blue contacted Deverill End and we were in luck! Our room was immaculate and the view was beautiful. A wide variety of breakfasts, we had the full English, which was top class. Highly recommend. We will be returning......

I stayed here for a couple of nights in autumn, glorying in the autumn colour at Stourhead and the surrounding countryside. Joy and Simon were most welcoming and the house itself is a lovely family home, full of antiques, interesting books and mementoes. The ensuite bedroom was spotless and cosy despite chilly nights, and Joy cooked a good breakfast on...

We were made most welcome by our hosts. We occupied two rooms, with comfy beds and all necessary facilities. The breakfast choice was truly scrumptious and we all enjoyed the feast. The stunning views and lovely gardens were delightful. I would rate this BandB very highly and would be happy to return if in this area again.

How marvellous to read such glowing reviews with which I totally agree. Was visiting Longleat and various National Trust properties in the area. I booked in by myself as my friends were staying in a village nearby. I couldn't have been more welcomed by Joy and Sim. I loved my room which so comfortable and clean and the view was...

I stayed one night but would have been happy to stay more. Joy and Sim provided a clean and comfortable room, with lots of small, thoughtful touches. (The Penguin biscuit was specially welcome after a tiring drive!) It's like staying in a private house, with attractive furniture and ornaments, and a good selection of books. The view out over the...

We had a lovely stay at Deverill End, and couldn't have asked for more. We had a family room, which had wonderful views over Joy and Sim's gorgeous garden and beyond! The room had everything you needed, lots of cupboarrd space, very comfy bed and en suite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, with home made jams and locally sourced food. Joy...

I have just returned from a 2 night weekend stay with my friend at Deverill End and it was a lovely, homely place to spend the weekend. We arrived to be greeted by Joy and Sim who are both lovely people and do make you feel at home straight away. We actually found out that Sim grew up in St...
