We have eaten here many times and love it. Great food and service, restaurant is well laid out, beautiful napery and fresh flowers on every table. The staff are brilliant, the food is fantastic - wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was made very welcome and the room fully lived up to my expectations being clean and comfortable. Although on the ground floor, and not far from the reception, I had two undisturbed nights sleep. The English breakfast was well prepared and served at the table.

Very friendly and helpful staff- professional but with a sense humour. Room (single) was clean and comfortable. Good stock of tea and coffee making facilities. TV remote control was missing and I reported this to reception but nothing turned up. Luckily I had an app on my phone to control the TV. Bed was comfortable although the pillows were a...

I stayed at the Riverhill whilst in Merseyside for a funeral. The rooms were good, mine was on the small side but clean and well furnished. The usual tea and coffee was provided. We ate dinner at the hotel for two nights and the food was excellent. The staff are very attentive and we never had to wait long for...

It's a long time since i've seen carpet in the bathrrom and the corner bath is the smallest (short and shallow) I've ever seen, my legs are longer than the bath! It was impossible to actualy have a...

My wife and I had our wedding meal and party here on may 14th. To say Steve was attentive to every single detail would be an understatement, he is a genuine lovely guy. Everything was perfect, he and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was really good, we would definitely be returning for food...

We ate here for Sunday lunch. The food was tasty and the waiter checked several times everything was OK. Traditional sweet trolley so you can see what's available before choosing! We were running a bit late and they were very accommodating.

Excellent. Caring staff, great breakfast. One small problem, promptly dealt with. Nice touch that the hospitality tray has a teapot instead of just "teabag in a mug". Also, although not eaten, bag of crisps and a Mars Bar as well as the usual biscuits.
