Where do I start? Carrickfergus Premier Inn is located in the harbour of Carrick, with some fantastic views of the castle and the sea. Hotel has free parking (which seems to be rare for a lot of hotels in the Belfast area), and is located close to a Sainsbury's, Tesco, McDonald's, cinema, and a load of other restaurants. I've stayed...

Great situation near the castle. Friendly and helpful service, usual comfy room and beds. Eat in the Mayur curry restaurant over the road to compete the visit in the evening and visit the interesting and historic castle in the morning.

Would most certainly have given 5 stars but let down by TV sound. We have stayed in several Premier Inns and are aware that the TV volume is restricted-that is fine.BUT we had to use sub-titles all the time and I have great hearing!! We mentioned this to staff on 3 occasions, all to no avail( they were not used...

Been to this hotel a couple of times, mostly for long weekends. It's in a great location overlooking the harbour and the castle however it is starting to get a little shabby in parts but overall good value for money. One downside is the occasional smell of sewage but not sure whether that is a problem with the hotel or...

Great location, easy check-in, friendly staff. A perfect place to explore the causeway coastal route. Since it is located right in the middle of town, it is easy to walk around, visit restaurants and explore the castle.

4 nights in a comfortable, clean and very central location. The staff could not do enough for us and made it a break to remember, I would certainly recommend and return myself. Breakfast has a wonderful choice and with a Brewers fare attached you don't have to go far for dinner.

This hotel is well located on a marina beside the castle with views of either or both from some of the windows-our room had a marina /sea view and the dining room looks out at the castle. Our room was a family one and one of the new ones at the back. The whole experience from check in to leaving...

Stayed here several times, location perfect for all tourist areas with ample parking. Hired a car so easy to get to Belfast. Lots of eateries close by, bar cosy but rooms better, large screen TV, tea and coffee replenished daily, clean and comfortable

We veer towards the Carrickfergus PI when in Ireland. Can't beat the 'castle/sea' view, easy parking and location - handing for Belfast, motorways and international airport. Good size rooms, in town if you fancy venturing further. Very good wifi (ultimate) and the lounge can be a good working base during the day.
