I always believe in giving a place a 2 second chance and that is what I did. But yet again it was a let down. not only was the services very poor which I put down to lack of staff and what staff where on including management need retrained in basic customer service. I have had much better in less...

We stayed in the hotel for two nights as a family for our son's wedding. It was lovely to have the whole hotel just for the wedding guests and it would be difficult to fault the location or the staff. The decor is a bit "shabby chic" rather than contemporary but that made it comfortable and homely - something we...

Arrived on Friday afternoon after emailing the hotel to say we would be late checking in to which I received a prompt reply to say that was fine. We were met at reception by a pleasant lady who gave us our key and gave us our directions to our room. Once in the room my heart sunk to be honest,...

Stayed here for one night on the last night of my business trip. What a lovely place. Was greeted by the house dog and could not resist playing with him for a few minutes. The gentleman on reception was fantastic, nothing was any trouble. Needed a replacement hair dryer and he sorted it straight away! I somehow ended up in...

We called in on the way home from a match. So glad we did. Cosy atmosphere and roaring fire. Young attentive and chatty staff BUT the outstanding part was the standard of food. Piping hot, fresh, tasty, delicately balanced flavours. Best we have had for a long time. Well priced. Great menu. Brilliant!

I had had the privilege of photographing quite a few weddings here & am looking forward to more this year. Andrew has to be one of the nicest, most professional & down to earth approachable wedding managers I have had the pleasure of working with. Nothing is too much trouble for him & this comes across with my couples -...
