Great food, fine service and good value. Eaten here several times over the past year and not had a bad meal yet. The food has been great, the whitebait is fantastic, not sure about the wooden plates for the burgers ?? Back again hopefully in 2017

A nice evening spent with old friends in this very pleasant pub. Food served was of high quality and served in a timely manner. It was quiet though for a Saturday evening so lacked a bit of atmosphere. We were there until 11:15pm and the staff seemed to be hanging around waiting for our exit. Not that we were pressured...

This is the 4th time visiting the racehorse as a dear friend lives in the village and constantly raves about it and rightly so. I've eaten here and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly. I've never found it particularly busy given the small village location but those customers I...

This unusual pub has a shop attached that serves light food. My party had a more substantial meal from the pub menu and it was excellent. Loved the thin, crispy chips. We browsed in the shop afterwards and bought some items for Christmas presents.

It's cute. Nice barkeep. The food is ok. Cute little village food shop. I'd prefer this place for happy hour rather than lunch. They are sometimes fast sometimes slow. I need more characters...ummm the starters are ok. It's just an ok place.

Spacious, comfortable room in converted stable block close to the main building but away from any possible pub noise. Friendly, welcoming staff in all areas - nothing was too much trouble. Ate in the restaurant. Freshly prepared food and served hot. Probably THE BEST STEAK & ALE PIE EVER !! Breakfast cooked to order was excellent. No hesitation staying here...

If you're visiting the Cambridge area this lovely English pub is within half an hr of the County Town and this is a pub well worth a visit. Gordon could not have been more helpful and he loves his pub 'The Racehorse'. We stayed a couple of nights in the fairly newly completed barn-conversion in 'The Hayloft'. A quite spacious...

I stayed at the Racehorse over the Christmas holiday. The service couldn't have been more attentive. Breakfast was lovely, and the pub to which the B&B is attached is a great place to spend an evening. We will definitely be going back.
