Firstly I will start by saying I was really happy with my stay and 85% of this was because of the fantastic staff! Was made to feel really at home and very welcomed! The room was a different animal though it had some quirky characteristics eg it was in a slight incline however this added to the character of the...

Really good value for the price given the location. A bit old and dated in parts but adds to the charm. Nice comfortable bed and good meal in the bar area. A good local pub with a good welcome. Full English breakfast included in the price. Definitely would stay again

If there was more power in the shower this would be a 5star review no doubt about it. Currently staying here for a week on seasonal business. Spacious clean room, superb country feel to everything, incredible staff, very welcoming, nothing is to much trouble. Like others below i thought the drizzle of a shower was due to the time of...

Room 2 unenthusiastic welcome. Carpet stained. Covers stained. Clean sheets though. Flat pillows and not enough. Towels were very thin and small. The towel rail was hanging off the wall. Only one light working in the bathroom. Only one light in the bedroom. Lampshade was torn. Breakfast: under cooked bacon tomatoes and hash browns. Egg that looked as though it...

An economical alternative to hugely inflated prices in nearby Cambridge, this hotel is worth considering for its localism and olde worlde charm. The staff were very friendly, the food very good and the room very spacious and comfortable. A pleasant stay albeit just one night. The one thing which disappointed, was the low water pressure in the shower. Don't know...

I stayed here on Saturday and despite having seen various poor reviews, I thought I would still take a chance...BAD MOVE! The room had mould on the ceiling and the bathroom, although spacious was also mouldy. One towel for 2 adults and no one to ask for more. The sheets appeared to be clean and as we were only staying...

Had a great evening out here with a group of friends, we all passed comments how very good the food was, all tastes were catered for and reasonably priced, all staff were excellent and friendly, will go there again.
