We stayed in this hotel for a week and I must say that we had a very good time. The staff and cleaning ladies are really kind and helpful. However, there are some things to improve, for example there were often no towels in the room and the Wi-Fi was barely anywhere. The swimming pool is beautiful but you have to get a deckchair early in the morning otherwise you won't find a free one anymore because in addition to the hotel guests it also hosts people from outside, I don't recommend eating at the pool bar because they are very slow, it costs a lot and it's not cheap. quality. The last negative note is the closing of the swimming pool at 7.00 pm.
Positive notes: the Technogym gym, the cleanliness, the location on the seafront, the parking and the breakfast which, although not very rich, is good but despite finishing at 11.00, 10.30 already takes everything away and in any case I recommend arriving before ten because otherwise you won't you find nothing more in the buffet.

Probably the best hotel in the area, but...
The interior is not very well maintained, lots of small cracks, scratches, minor broken things that you don't expect in a 4 star hotel. It's a pity that probably customers have little respect for the place and the staff cannot manage so many issues. The staff is slow, everything takes o lot of time. The beach is public, not very clean probably because is very popular with the locals day and night in the summer. It's also difficult to get to the hotel in the evening, crowds of people, streets closed for cars until 3 in the morning.
Best thing about the hotel : the pool and the sea views. The pool is excellent, big, deep, extremely clean all day long. The SPA is well managed and rhe services are very good( pricey but worth it)

Very nice hotel, the rooms are well maintained and the bedding is comfortable. Blackout curtains allow you to sleep well. The staff is very attentive. The breakfast buffet is very hearty. The pool is large and clean. The pool bar is nice for drinking or eating.
Small suggestion, offer cakes or mini sandwiches at the pool bar, I think people would take it easily in case of a small hollow in the afternoon (a big sandwich is too big to taste).

This is a 4 stars hotel with high rates that are not worth the value of money any tourist would spend. I experienced with my family the most terrible service ever. The staff are rude, slow and they can be even insulting the client/resident if you ask for a better prompt service (that was my personal experience that I was insulted by a waiter!). Furthermore, the common toilets and emergency stairs are full of insects and dirt. Once you complain to the management, specifically to the General Manager of this hotel (Giovanni Olei) who is supposed to be managing and instructing the employees, he will be praising his staff and will merely say we have problems but we cannot do much about them, "we anyways are making profit every year".
Definitely, management of the hotel is lacking basic managerial skills and they encourage their staff to behave like they behave.
Spend your money in a place in Morocco where owners of a hotel will appraciate your presence and give you full appraciation for your money spend there.
I would not recommend this hotel to any visitor. Morocco is about warm services which you will definitely not encounter in this place.

We were attending a godson's wedding in Casablanca and this was the base hotel. Mohammedia is on the coast North of Casablanca and off the track for many British tourists. We were surprised to find a large, well designed, modern hotel with every facility you could wish for, including a spa which my wife found excellent. There was also a superb pool and sunbathing area with bar and restaurant service.
Be sure to reserve a room with sea view overlooking a very large sandy beach. Our room matched the best room one could find in any European hotel.
There was a choice of several restaurants including French and Moroccan cuisines. We had the 'menu du jour' on the first evening which was very good value, but the choice did not change for the few days we were there.
Mohammedia is on the main railway line which joins Marrakesh with Casablanca and Fez. The train service is fast and to a very high standard.

Check-in and check-out are a pain especially when done by one of the male clerks. Breakfast is totally disorganized. Cups are always missing, or coffee or orange juice or... . I've been to this hotel many times over the past 10 years because you don't have much of a choice in Mohammedia and it has not changed. That's what is so incredible. Nobody seems to care. The staff seems to rediscover every day what it takes to run a hotel.
Rooms are clean and beds comfortable.

From my point of view, this is the classic example of how everything can get worse and worse if there is no competition to stimulate it.
We can consider this the only “international” hotel in Mohammedia, and this is the only reason why you can go there.
The structure is good, and also the location, but the maintenance is really a disaster.
In my room there were a lot of spot due to the humidity. In the bathroom the shower were not well sealed, and after every shower you could find a nice lake in the ground (that could be even dangerous for old people).
Wifi is for free, but (at least in my room) connection was not stable at all.
The staff: well, I spent here several days, and only two people were at the level of a 4 stars. Some people in the reception cannot even speak English.
For example: because some job issues, I had to extend my stay in the hotel. I informed the person in the reception, but probably, or he did not understand, or he forgot to put my request it in the system, because the day after I was asked for the check out. In any case, the hotel was not fully booked, and so we could fix the problem.
Someone also stole some money I left hidden in the room. I tried for one week to speak with the GM, but probably he was very busy. After 7 days I could meet just the deputy GM: The answer was “you should put them in the safe box”. Correct, but the fact I did not put the money there, does not authorize people of your staff to steal them.
To make a long story short, I will look for others hotel in Mohammedia, if not I will sleep in Casablanca.

My wife and I stayed on the night of 24-Aug. We had a wedding in the ballroom adjacent to the hotel.
1- When you call the hotel to confirm the booking, the reservation desk never picks up the phone. It took me 3 hours to get through.
2- we stayed in suite 206: there was hair everywhere and the shower was clogged.
3- We had dirty pillow cases. It is true that housekeeping came to our room to change them and I asked to come back 30 minutes later but they never came back.
4- We didn't come back from the wedding until 6am and we called the front desk to get us some pillowcase but they refused, citing that housekeeping isn't open until 9am! We ended up using towels as cases
5- there were a few mosquitoes in the room that I had to chase and kill. I left one on the wall and hope the housekeeping will notice!
not a lot of choices in Mohammedia but this is not what to expect in a hotel of this caliber.

I visited the resort this morning , I was planning to have lunch by the pool , and couldn't stay even to finish my drinks . No menu I never been in a restaurant with no menu and the biggest disappointments was the prices 100 DH for expresso and orange juice. And no bill !!!! I asked and the waiter didn't bother to provide.
Never go there .
Shame on the FB .

Response from Avanti M, General Manager at Avanti Mohammedia Hotel
Responded 11 Aug 2015
Dear Anas, We would really wanted to apologize for the issue face during the time you pass by the hotel last . I am very surprise that nobody came to you with a menu which is not normal especially if you visited us at Lunch time. Be sure this is a mistake not an habits. Concerning the price for Coffee and Orange Juice, our prices are globally in line with other 4 stars hotel of Casablanca & Rabat . And in the price you have the place and all the sevices offer by a 4 star hotel this is why hotels are always more expensive than bars because they have much more structure & staff charge. Next time you visited us please contact a manager we would be please to meet with you and show you that your experiences was not the reflect of our service quality. Best Regards, Massimo Leimer Executive Assistant Manager
