After a bit of a travel to get there, we arrived at the harbour and waited for our boat to take us out to the resort. The boat ride is about 20 minutes, we were greeted at the jetty by the staff and taken up to the reception. What an amazing resort. The wildlife all around, we saw deer, black...

NusaBay Menjangan is the only hotel situated within the West Bali National Park (Bali's only National Park). As such, it is very isolated and great to escape the "crowds" that have overtaken much of Southern Bali. In order to get there you meet at a small dock on the mainland and then you are transported to the hotel by boat....

We weren't sure when we landed: a feeling of being deserted. But we were sad to leave. The snorkelling at nearby Menjangan Island - and at off the pier at the hotel - was exceptional. The forest walk interesting with great view from top of the hill. The deer and black monkeys turned up . But what made it was...

Lovely location, accessible only by motor boat, which ferries to/from the mainland, 3 times a day. Nice private rooms, all located remote from the central facilities. There's a good restaurant next to the beach, and a reasonable sized pool. Lots of wildlife around, including barking deer and black monkeys (Javan lutung), and lots of birds. Unfortunately, the beach is spoiled...

I have been to Bali many times and never had the time to make it to the national park. So this trip we rented a car (first time driving here!) Perhaps it's because we booked the hotel just one day prior via hotels.com, but we had virtually no info on where /how to catch the boat to the resort. A...

We had a wonderful two night stay at the hotel. We were one of only two couples staying in the resort at the time so it was wonderfully quiet. The staff couldn't do enough, met us on arrival and waved us off as we left! The wildlife were beyond fabulous- it's obviously that the resort keep to their own rules...

As soon as the boat reach the hotel shore, the view is breathtaking. The water in the beach is so clear that you can see the fishes swimming between the corals. The cottage lies between the natural forest and the beach. Very shady surrounded by trees. The room is clean and cozy. I don't know the reason, but there's no...

This place is amazing. My partner and I had the most relaxing time. We stayed four nights, and while it was remote we never got bored. We snorkeled, trekked, had multiple massages, sipped cocktails by the pool, and watched the monkeys and deer which roam the property. The rooms look great and are serviced twice a day. Considering there is...
