If you plan a stay in Kapiti Coast, I would recommend to choose an accommodation in Raumati. Very cute place with nice shops and restaurants, right on the beach, close of walking tracks or QE Park. Raumati sands resort is a nice place to stay in Raumati at short walking distance from every thing. Friendly staff. Nice rooms but you...

Sorry I stayed here. Rooms were large but basic. Beds were disgusting, pillows were cheap and nasty, as were the sheets and bedspread. Bathroom was decent, clean and fresh. Kitchen was clean. No housekeeping during our four night stay. The "free" internet was not worth having, and was rationed, it dropped in and out. This hotel would be okay for...

We stayed here over the Easter long weekend, visiting family in Raumati. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was plenty of room for a family of four. Facilities are good (laundry and kitchen) and the kids loved the pool and spa. The location is great, right in the middle of Raumati. Check in and check out was quick...

We have stayed here 4 times now and still enjoy it. This time the place needs some tlc and some extra cleaning. the outside needs attention too with some much needed waterblasting of green moss and weeds growing through cracks in the tiles. In saying this, we still enjoyed our stay. It's great having a pool, spa, washing machine and...

We came to have a look at the general area and found Raumati Sands Resort to be very central to all amenities. The two story apartment style accommodation is modern and tidy with good water pressure in the shower. We would come back again. :-)

Would never recommend this resort while the present management are running it. They are rude, unpleasant and need to learn how to deal with guests. I say guests as that is something they forget, we were treated really badly. They watched our every move and stalked us, waiting for us to do something wrong. I could write a chapter on...

The last reviews pretty much summed it up. The actual accommodation is lovely . Well equipped rooms comfortable and great location. Close to the beach and restaurants. Lovely part of New Zealand. But sadly will not be returning to this resort . I will give the actual resort a three.

Travelled 8 and a half hours. Arrived 1.35pm. Reception door was locked. Rang the bell to check in for our five night stay. Curtly informed check in was most certainly not until 2pm as management was having their lunch. I could wait across the road until then. This was the start of our Fawlty Towers experience. A cold, unfriendly stay...

Looking for a place to stay in Raumati we came to Sands Resort. There was one room left and it came in at a reasonable $198. What we got was a very nice two bedroom suit with a large kitchen, and two bathrooms, one downstairs and the other upstairs. There was a small balcony on one of the upstairs rooms...

Just spent three nights here. The apartments are great, well located and recently upgraded but as previously reviewed, the new management need a few lessons in the art of hospitality especially the "Mrs" of this partnership. It takes real skill to create a home away from home to your guests and our stay fell well short of the mark.
