I live locally to the hotel and have been a few times especially as it has changed hands. The Menu on line (Bar Menu) does not represent the Menu they serve and when asked was told it was the same and they would provide dishes on line that were advertised on the menu in their bar area, but when I...

The new owners have a massive task on their hands but are doing a great job so far. This is an amazing building in an incredible setting and in just a few months it is really beginning to come back to life. The transformation has begun in the bar area and it looks amazing. The rooms have great potential and...

Myself & my husband arrived here early on the Friday evening of the August Bank holiday weekend. Meals in the newly refurbished restaurant were still being served so we enjoyed a lovely "gastro pub" style meal. Excellent value. Superb friendly staff, spoke with the owners who have done so well in 3 months to re-furb parts of the hotel. They...

Only stopped here to revive ourselves with a drink after completing a visit to the adjacent waterfalls. Grateful for it's strategic position and pleasant decor. Sat on comfy sofas by a coffee table and liked the general ambience. We didn't eat here as had made other plans. A trip to the loo revealed the quirky nature and confines of an...

This restaurant is located at the end of the walk round Devils Bridge Falls so a perfect place to have a drink or something to eat afterwards. There were 2 veggie options - 1 with goats cheese (which I hate with a passion) & 1 without. So I ordered the 1 without - roasted vegetable with pesto panini. The food...

Visited the Hafod Hotel today for 2 cups of tea and a single scone and paid nearly £8!!! Felt that was really overpriced considering we are sitting in a pub 20kms away eating a 5 plate Sharing platter which cost us £9!!! Disappointing tourist rip off.

Went with the kids for an evening meal as we were stopping at the campsite around the corner. We'd been in for drinks earlier in the week and the place looked nice. You know it's not going to be good when you go to the loo and overhear a conversation between two people debating whether or not to complain about...

Stayed here in the suite for one night on recommendation of local friend. Room was definitely tired but the place is under new ownership and is being redecorated so give them a chance! There are 2 car parks one adjacent and one up the hill 100 yards away that is massive. I was worried as another reviewer had said car...

Booked for Sunday lunch and really wish we hadn't . A very attractive building on the outside ,which did not continue on the inside . There were two seating areas with attractive and comfortable chairs and sofa's,however that was the only good thing lots of large plain tables and uncomfortable chairs giving a canteen like appearance to the rest of...
