Friendly staff and good food. Nothing extraordinary but tasted nice. Food didn't come particularly quick which made dining with two small children a little harder as they were hungry. Portion sizes were good, especially the children's menu which had a good selection of choices. Didn't have any desserts as it was late for the kids by the time we had...

Found by accident. This pub is a little gem with excellent and reasonably priced pub good. We had a couple of sharing platters both of which were very tasty. The wine was good quality and also reasonably priced.

We visited for drinks whilst in the village. We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival and spent several hours there. Always three real ales on at the bar, which was nice to see. We met a regular drinker, Jock, who may be in his late seventies, but still has plenty of life in him! The hotel seems very...

(If you’re looking for modern architecture and city slick decor this would not be for you as I feel the negative comment I read prior to my stay may have been). The staff could not...

We stopped by as it was dinner time and randomly walked in. It was a very nice surprise. Everyone was very hospitable, our dog was welcome and they made space for us. The sausages are locally sourced and delicious, but the prize goes to the desserts, which look and taste spectacular. Really well done!

I stayed here at the weekend when watching the world rally championships and I cannot recommend this place enough. We really could not have been made to feel more welcome. Friendly faces and an incredibly friendly welcome from the owners, staff and the regular customers. The rooms are clean, well kept and very comfortable. Free WiFi. The food is lovely,...
