We stayed in the cottage Over Easter it was exceptionally clean and very tastefully decorated and furnished. The cottage and b&b is set in beautiful surroundings with a small holding where they keep hens ducks sheep and alpacas, but still in a fantastic location within easy reach of Saundersfoot (5mins drive) and Tenby. Can walk down to Amroth beach as well if you are feeling energetic. The owner was a breath of fresh air absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Best cottage we have stayed in and have already booked our return visit.

This review covers our three day stay at Horsemanstone near Amroth in Wales, October 2020. The accommodation is as spotlessly clean and as Covid safe as anywhere can be. It was purposely designed as a luxury B&B - an objective which has clearly been exceeded as quite simply its a lovely comfortable place to stay.
Although a very handy base for visiting Tenby, Saundersfoot and further afield, the location itself is stunning. Anna and Chris, the owners have small but entertaining menagerie of two alpacas, two sheep and a number of chickens who are kept as happy as their guests opposite the accommodation . It is obvious they care about their guests and will do their best to make sure you have a comfortable stay.
Due to the Covid situation a continental breakfast is delivered each day to the room having been chosen from a menu the day before. Presently this include the options of bacon, sausage rolls with vegan options. What we received was tasty and of very good quality.
When we booked this I was a little unsure as the reviews are so good., but now having stayed I am pleased to add to them, Certainly a B&B " but not as we know it!" We will return!!!!

We received a great welcome from Mel on our arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was most clean with comfortable beds and well equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettle, TV, fridge, microwave and a lovely bathroom with ample towels, shampoos and gels etc.
The breakfast pre ordered the evening before was delivered to the room in a basket and was a great start to the day with the bacon, sausage and egg baps a favourite.
We were so fortunate to have brilliant weather and it was lovely to wander outside and see the alpacas, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese and even a black swan. The alpacas and sheep really enjoy biscuits and were so gentle when taking them from our hands.
They have separate outdoor tables and chairs for each room where we enjoyed breakfast on a couple of mornings.
Whenever Mel delivered the breakfasts, she was accompanied by Coco - a lovely friendly little dog who stole everyone's heart.
Mel's parents, the owners, were on a brief holiday when we arrived, but we did meet her Mum, Anna on our last morning and she and her friend who helps out were delightful too.
Thank you for the lovely welcome and manner you looked after us.
The Horsemanstone is a truly great retreat in a beautiful locality with lovely towns and villages to visit and a variety of superb walks.
We definitely recommend.

Not our first stay here, 3rd in fact within a 12 month period. We had a wonderful Christmas experience at the cottage. Christmas tree and decorations adorned the living room and dining room, prosecco and chocolates awaited us on arrival along with fresh eggs from the chickens. Kitchen is very well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans. All the amenities required for a comfortable week long stay. Highly recommended and we will be going back again in the summer and next Christmas I'm sure!!

Stayed over night on the 20 October as we were picking up our new fur baby locally but really wish we had of booked a couple of days. Not only were we met with Alpacas and a gorgeous sheep but the other animals were a welcome sight to unwind to in the evening. Although Coco was the highlight, the owners adorable dog who welcomed a fuss and a cuddle.
The actual property was cleaner than some 5* hotels we had previously stayed at.
We would normally stay away from anywhere that offered a breakfast hamper rather than a full cooked breakfast but we were both blown away by the quality of the produce and the hot breakfast roll was the best I'd had with fresh eggs being the highlight.
Having met Anna who is extremely friendly and clearly does it for the love rather than solely a business we felt at ease and had a few chats between the downpours and got the impression nothing would have been too much trouble had we of asked.
The only negative is that they don't accept dogs because of their animals which is understandable as we would have returned in a heartbeat. Also the location close enough to access the main roads although just far enough to not hear road noise makes it even more of a gem.
Definitely recommend if you're after visiting Tenby or surrounding areas.

We had one night in Horsemanstone and the accommodation is excellent, very modern and comfortable with every amenity, including a fridge and a microwave. Always nice to have fresh milk for tea and coffee. Our hosts were v welcoming and friendly and looked after us well. Due to COVID we had a continental breakfast and it was very good, delicious. As I am 6’ I did struggle a bit with the ceiling height as we were in the loft bedroom but my wife was fine. A great stay and good value. Recommend it.

My partner and I decided to book a last minute stay-cation over the New Year and struck upon this beautiful property and it's rural location.
The rooms are large and well-equipped with their own private entrance and terrace which overlook acres of land and friendly rescued animals.
There is a well-stocked kitchenette with a good sized fridge/freezer, plenty of kitchenware, a microwave, kettle, teatowel, tea/coffee, bottled water, biscuits and fresh milk each day.
The bathroom is also a good size with a large jet bath! The underfloor heating which is controlled independently was a real treat too.
The bed was king size and very comfy. Everything was immaculate and Anna provided fresh Towels everyday as well as attentive housekeeping.
A varied breakfast menu was offered daily at limited times to suit and served hot/cold to our door. Everything was delicious and eggs were fresh from the chickens! I highly recommend ordering the freshly baked croissants! 😋
Anna couldn't do enough to make our stay clean, comfortable and most enjoyable. She is a very friendly host and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect as well as sharing useful tips and information about the surrounding area.
We cannot wait to hopefully return here in the spring/summer!

I rarely review properties we stay in, maybe a little lazy on my part! We travel extensively both here in the UK and abroad and on this occasion felt I couldn’t let our recent stay go without comment. The property’s location is quite stunning, not too far from the coast. Easily accessible and very welcoming. Our loft room was just beautiful. I’ve never stayed anywhere so clean and the attention to detail in our room was second to none. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. We slept like babies and the bedding was silky fresh. Everything we required was included, a filled fridge, microwave, etc. Nothing was too much. Breakfast delivered to your door due to Covid restrictions, was perfect, fresh produce, great coffee…. Perfect way to start the day. Such an amazing B & B that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others and a place I am sure we will return to.

What a wonderful surprise as you pull off the main road onto this fabulous property. The room (3) was gorgeous. The inclusion of a fridge and microwave gives a great independent feel to this lovely, relaxing bed and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and having breakfast delivered in a picnic basket by Anna and Coco was such a delight every morning. It was so relaxing to watch the llamas, sheep and all the birds around the pond. I have to say Coco, the dog, knows exactly how to win everyone's heart. She is beautiful. This place is so incredible we have rebooked for October. Thank you Anna and Chris.

Beautiful place and conveniently located to explore Pembrokeshire. The rooms are finished to a high standard and the breakfast was also excellent. Because of Covid, Anna actually delivered directly to our room. Facilities were also very good. The only minor issue I had was that Room 4 is quite small for a tall person. Loved the ducks and hens nearby. Will 100% return if we find ourselves in the same area and would certainly recommend to a friend.
