What a delightful campsite: great location with views across Wharfedale from every one of the grassy terraces, friendly owners, immaculate facilities - including super clean hot showers to die for - and a fairly quiet site though still only 40 minutes walk (most along the river bank) if you want to walk to the Craven Arms in Appletreewick, and a...

This campsite was perfect with lots of availability quite close to the Easter weekend. The staff were really nice on arrival but kept themselves out of your way, but you always new where they were if you needed them. You got quite a large bit of land for your tent and a picnic bench, along with bricks to put a...

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, you certainly made the most of it fitting all that in! Save something for next time you visit, although the area still has plenty to offer on its doorstep. Best wishes from all the team here at Howgill.

Have been visiting Howgill for a number of years now and find myself gravitating their way whenever I am in need of some 'solo camping time'. The facilities here are great super clean toilet/shower block and the location is brilliant. Fab walks from the site and a couple of good pubs within walking distance. Not the cheapest site in the...

Beautiful location, peaceful, great room, lovely comfy bathroom. Friendly and professional service, flawless online booking. Would not hesitate to stay again at Howgill. (The nearby villages are a charm, too, just a short drive for meals in the evening.)

This is a fantastic site with a wonderful view. My wife and I will certainly be going back. If you like chickens then this is the site for you. It is only a short drive to the market town of Skipton. Also for those that like walking there are plenty of areas to visit.

We stayed here for one night only as night 2 of walking the Dales Way. I booked 3 rooms and they were all very comfortable with everything we needed. The rooms are in a converted building at the entrance to a well kept, quiet camp-site. The views from our rooms were spectacular. Breakfast was provided in the owners house and...

Thank you so much for a lovely stay in Unit 1 of your B&B barn accommodation. The view was absolutely gorgeous and we could have spent hours with a drink enjoying it. If we win the lottery we will book in for a weekend every month. Lovely hosts, excellent breakfast and great facilities/extras in the room.

We stayed at Howgill lodge for 4 nights on bank holiday weekend. It is part of a lovely quiet site that has tents/tourers and 4 caravans. The B&B is in a very quiet area with fantastic views. The family room was spacious, comfortable and had everything you could want. Loved the fact there was a bath and not just a...

I stayed here as a hiker in a solo backpacking tent. I like to go minimal and fast. The price for 6 nights was fantastic. The site is superbly laid out with terraces that are easily accessible. These also act as windbreaks. The numerous toilet and shower blocks around the site are very clean, with pot washing facilities and washing...
