It indicates on the coner off..... , but they entrance is about 100m before coner off ..... More signs before or at the gate for The Wesley will be great for other guests traveling from far. When I booked I saw on the pic and description indicated a shower, but no shower in the unit. Lovely 'honest bar". Rooms very...

This establishment is very well appointed with luxury finishes and a great breakfast served by lovely staff. The biggest disappointment for me was that there is no street number or any reference to "The Wesley" on the property. I spent half an hour traversing the area as my route finder had told me that I had "arrived at destination" but...

A lovely out of town boutique hotel - we were left to our own devices, we helped ourselves from the honesty bar & ordered a takeaway, which we ate while enjoying an electric thunderstorm. Very unusual rooms, but lovely - a bath in centre stage of floor !

With the exception of slight difficulty in finding The Wesley, everything else was wonderful; Helpful and polite staff, comfortable and clean bedroom and great breakfast. What more could you ask? We will defiantly stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wesley. The room was amazing and had everything we needed. The gardens were perfectly manicured. Pity we didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful pool. It's conveniently located to explore Johannesburg and surrounding areas from.

Clean venue. Conveniently located, with easy access. Close to all major amenities in Joburg. Pleasant service from the administrator. Hearty breakfast. However, bath in executive suite was leaking. All in all a good experience.

Generally a very good establishment. I used it for business, so convenience was key. It was a very comfortable stay and the staff were extremely friendly. The one point that frustrated me was that nowhere do they indicate that the Standard room I booked only had a bath (no shower), while the Executive suits apparently all do have showers. Being...

We arrived to beautiful reclaimed doors framing the garden. The room was lovely and had a large French styled bed that one dreams of. The bathroom was incoropated into the the bedroom with only a low wall separating the sleeping area. Pride is taken in how the gardens are kept and enjoyed the big pool. Breakfast was good and service...

Place was over rated - electricity was down (could be general outage) but with no plan or assistance or apologies. Reception was unmanned. Tap fittings in room were all loose. Had to find shower at airport before meetings. Bed was perfect, but loose carpet in room very dirty.

My husband and I spent one night at the Wesley and found the room to be comfortable, the staff helpful and the breakfast selection was great. I would certainly recommend this hotel as it was also value for money.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Wesley is an upmarket Guesthouse that caters for the more discerning guests. Situated in the heart of Bryanston, Sandton, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a natural bird haven which has been cultivated over decades opposite the Bryanston golf course. As one of the oldest farm houses in Bryanston, the property is situated on the highest point in the area and has been occupied by Multinational CEOs and Heads of States. The Wesley is conveniently near many popular venues, namely 10 minutes away from Sandton, Fourways, Cresta, Rosebank, Monte Casino, the highway and the Gautrain Set in an idyllic surrounding, there are few experiences that can rival sipping sundowners on the deck, listening to the gurgling of the waterfalls, basking amongst the unique bird life, and watching the setting of the magnificent South African sun! Exclusivity and privacy is the key to the service offering and each room is designed with this in mind. The entire area is covered by Cameras, electric fencing and electric beams with 24 hour guards and is truly a secure environment where you can feel at home without any worries. With a backup generator in case of power failure. The rooms vary in size from 45 to 100 square metres boasting antiques in all the rooms dating between 100 and 250 years old. The focus and design is a fusion between French Provencal with touches of ancient colonial Asia. Each of the 11 rooms has a sense of conformity with the detail presenting total individualism. The majority of the decor has been specifically imported and guests can experience treats such as slumbering on an 18th Century bed. Without giving away all the treasures to be found in the common areas, you will definitely notice the 250 year old feature door when exploring the property. There is a Cigar bar and an African Bar and a beautiful swimming pool with waterfalls and Palm trees rivaling Sun City. If you are looking for the best bouquet of offerings from personal to professional and modern to old school, The Wesley will not disappoint both private and business traveller alike.
