Lovely, comfortable and homely. Only thing is that cappucinos should be on the house :) Other than that, very friendly staff and beautifully decorated rooms. The location was also prime, as I was working in Sandton.

We were attending a function at Bryanston Country club, and were looking for a good guesthouse in the immediate area. The Wesley came recommended by the club themselves. We arrived on the Saturday afternoon to check in. There were no staff in attendance. The security guard led us through the garden beds to a deserted reception. He then gave me...

We greatly enjoyed the stay. What could have made it even better , would have been a couch to relax whilst watching tv or sipping on some dry red. Overall a good open space, clean and refreshing . The bar could also include some sweet wines.

Perfect as always. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served quickly and fresh. Staff were friendly and efficient. There was nothing more that I could have expected at the price paid for this accommodation.

The bedroom room is very nice and spacious. Breakfast is just as good with great garden view. Central located with low-to-non traffic/city noice. The bathroom is not great, super small with horrible layout design.

Was booked into The Wesley for an overnight business trip. Phoned to ascertain if we could have dinner - no reply and on leaving a message, my call was not returned. Chose another venue for dinner, and after this made our way in the dark to the accommodation. Battled to locate the building/entrance as there no signage with very little...

It was only 2 nights stay but it was lovely. Not a big accommodation but cozy and safe. I like that there is a bath tub in the room. (Although no shower room but it ok, I prefer bath tub) Staff was lovely and helpful.

We stayed here for about 2 weeks in July/August 2016 and initially chose this venue due to the convenient location to family in the area, coupled with the good reviews we read. We were given a large "family" room (Room 7) that had a King sized bed with ample space to add 2 single beds for our teenage daughters. There...

I was excited to stay at the Wesley as the pictures on the website portray the property as absolutely outstanding. The exterior looked tired and the pool surface was in desperate need of repair. Marks along the bottom resembling algae or peeling paint made it look very uninviting. The driveway was complete mud, as it had been raining and the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Wesley is an upmarket Guesthouse that caters for the more discerning guests. Situated in the heart of Bryanston, Sandton, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a natural bird haven which has been cultivated over decades opposite the Bryanston golf course. As one of the oldest farm houses in Bryanston, the property is situated on the highest point in the area and has been occupied by Multinational CEOs and Heads of States. The Wesley is conveniently near many popular venues, namely 10 minutes away from Sandton, Fourways, Cresta, Rosebank, Monte Casino, the highway and the Gautrain Set in an idyllic surrounding, there are few experiences that can rival sipping sundowners on the deck, listening to the gurgling of the waterfalls, basking amongst the unique bird life, and watching the setting of the magnificent South African sun! Exclusivity and privacy is the key to the service offering and each room is designed with this in mind. The entire area is covered by Cameras, electric fencing and electric beams with 24 hour guards and is truly a secure environment where you can feel at home without any worries. With a backup generator in case of power failure. The rooms vary in size from 45 to 100 square metres boasting antiques in all the rooms dating between 100 and 250 years old. The focus and design is a fusion between French Provencal with touches of ancient colonial Asia. Each of the 11 rooms has a sense of conformity with the detail presenting total individualism. The majority of the decor has been specifically imported and guests can experience treats such as slumbering on an 18th Century bed. Without giving away all the treasures to be found in the common areas, you will definitely notice the 250 year old feature door when exploring the property. There is a Cigar bar and an African Bar and a beautiful swimming pool with waterfalls and Palm trees rivaling Sun City. If you are looking for the best bouquet of offerings from personal to professional and modern to old school, The Wesley will not disappoint both private and business traveller alike.
