Detailed Reviews
Great hotel for those traveling by car. The location is very convenient for those coming from the motorway. Excellent services provided and cleanliness. The hotel has a private car park. The room was quite small but very functional. It's nice to arrive and have tea in your room equipped with a kettle, tea and coffee. Excellent breakfast and dinner in the restaurant inside the hotel.

We used the Mulhouse Kyriad for four nights exploring France and Switzerland, hard to find entrance at first behind supermarket. Friendly host of this franchise hotel, restaurant shut at weekends and virtually empty Sat and Sun. The bar, breakfast area, what would have been restaurant crawled with flies, outdoor area unkempt and gloomy. Rooms dark but adequate, actually cheaper than many Camponiles which are a notch lower down the quality scale. We were happy enough and friendly restaurant staff at Camponile next door fed
us well enough. Why no English language chanels on TV in these joints.

We have stayed here several times and on all occasions have been happy with our stay.
Plentiful adjacent parking, clean room, comfortable bed. Most of all quiet at night.
Breakfast was average using the now normal French formulae.
Normally when we stay on a Sunday, the restaurant is closed, completely forgot which day it was and went to a nearby steakhouse in the rain, missing the chance to try the hotel restaurant.

It was very cold in the room, the radiators are intentionally unusable, direction order. Moreover the cleanliness leaves to be desired the condition of the kettle frankly prevented me from drinking hot tea. I will not go back.
There is nothing worse than being cold in your hotel room after a day of work!!!

This was a perfect hotel for us when we wanted an overnight stop on our way from Italy to the UK. Just a few minutes from the motorway & easy to locate. Yes it is basic but for the price it is excellent. It was clean, the shower was good & the bed was comfortable, all you need for an overnight pit-stop. The hotel restaurant was closed when we were there but there is a bar/restaurant a two minute walk away where we had dinner. We didn't stop for breakfast as we wanted to get on the way & we had food with us.

We stayed a short night before our early flight from Basel.
First, I booked two rooms for 5 people and got both rooms with a double bed so one of us had to sleep on the floor (no mattress, just a folded blanket). This was not necessarily a problem with the hotel but just a warning for those using booking.com (I was told by the hotel staff they have similar issues on a daily basis).
Rooms, which were non smoking by name but not by smell are very small and dated - bath and toilet surely needed to be replaced years ago. We got our rooms on the first floor facing the street which was very noisy (next by hotel guests were not from the quit type) and since it was very hot and there was no air condition we had to leave the window open so no way to avoid it. The reception staff was very friendly and tried their best to help with the issues we were having. Anyway- the fact there is a restaurant and a bar should not make this a three star hotel as the provided experience was more of a camping one.

We booked the hotel through the premier classe website, on the basis that it listed air conditioning (under the services and conditions tab) which given the weather was an absolute requirement for us and for which we had paid an additional cost compared to other choices. When we got to the hotel we found that it doesn't have air con. The owner/receptionist wasn't apologetic (just said there was a fan in the room), but was more concerned in ensuring that this information was removed (it has been). It was too late to cancel and book an alternative hotel with air con, so we had to spend an uncomfortably hot and sleepless night before our very early start the next day - really not happy at all about that. We had been informed by the owner/receptionist that in addition to the fixed (non-vegetarian) menu the restaurant would also have other (vegetarian) options available in the evening - they did not. Fortunately the Italian restaurant in the shopping centre was good. Also we had chosen not to have breakfast at the hotel because of early start to get to Swiss border as early as possible, but the next morning as we went to check out the (new) receptionist tried to charge us for it - this delayed us by about 20 to 25 minutes in having to make the case that this was not a justified charge, leading to further delays in our journey as traffic we'd intended to avoid had started to build. All in all this was not a happy stay and left me feeling very angry - whilst (at my request) the owner called us later to explain that the additional charge had been made in error, at no point did we have an apology about the lack of advertised air con in the room.

Dear Guest. We would like to thank you for taking the time to send us your review. Whilst an apology will regrettably not alter the outcome of your experience on this occasion, I do extend it with all sincerity. I certainly empathise regarding the points you mention in your review especially concerning the misunderstanding with the air-conditioning. I can only apologise once again and hope you understand that I was not aware of the fact until you brought it to my attention and I could have the erroneous information removed. We did do our best to ensure you had a comfortable say in one of our cooler rooms equipped with a fan. We can cater for any dietary requirement and even if options might not be listed on the menu we are always ready with suggestions depending on which fresh produce we have available at that time. We regret you did not discuss your dietary requirements with our restaurant team. Please accept my apologies for the error on our behalf regarding the breakfast charge. I did contact you during the day to apologise and understood that you were pleased to have received my call. Yours sincerely, Lise Havelberg, Owner

Stayed here in a family room, enroute to Innsbruck. The area in which the hotel is situated, is a large commercial zone, not very attractive, but does have easy access to the motorway network, including easy access to the A5 in Germany. Reception was efficient and welcoming. The room was small for a family room, the second bed was above the bathroom, a fixed ladder allowed access to the upper area. This area could be cordened of securely to allow use by children, but perhaps not toddlers. Being a Sunday the restaruant was closed, there are "chain" dining oppertunities within a short walking distance. Breakfast was good value with a a wide choice.
