Short stay in wales was made by lovely surroundings nice cottage perfectly situated for our holiday easy access to Bala town and surrounding places near by pub was a great find good food the Bryntirion Inn

Stayed with a small group some years ago. The setting was really beautiful, rooms superb and meals were second to none. I recommend Melin Meloch as a great place to stay for visits to Bala, Snowdonia and North Wales.

Close to Bala and Snowdonia, Melin Meloch is ideally situated for most of North Wales. I found it a lttle quirky in the nicest possible way. I hope to visit again soon. My visit was several years ago so changes might have been made ......More

Hotel description
This former 15th century Water Mill on the edge of Snowdonia National Park stands in 2 acres of beautiful water gardens, close to Bala town with its spectacular 4 mile natural lake. An excellent position for touring Mid and North Wales. Comfortable, friendly accommodation in the Mill cottage, granary (with their own front doors) and mill house. Breakfast is served in the mill with its galleried interior with a wealth of beams and old world charm.
