We stayed here in the summer with our dog but he wasn't overly welcome even though I enquired first. It had been drizzling and I was made to wipe his feet before going into the lounge as there was a white rug and black sofa!!! I would have dried him anyway but I felt like I was at school!! The... The Coach House is certainly off the beaten track, but is easy enough to find if you listen more carefully to the instructions. Once there, the accommodation is great - a pleasant room as a small suite with a separate bathroom. The owners are extremely helpful to the point where they even allowed me to have a little blow on... More

I had the great pleasure of staying at this lovely location for three days and two nights, I felt instantly welcome and looked after, I arrived late after a long journey and they were happy to let me order food in, which many hotels don't. My room was the twin en suit which was just perfect for me, comfortable bed,... More

The Coach House is off the beaten track, literally. It is about a mile off the country road which runs through the village of Rudry. The road needs to be driven at a gentle pace, as it has a few lumps and bumps along the way. Nice way to start, or finish your busy sightseeing days. There is plenty of... More

My husband, daughter myself and in laws stayed here for 2 nights while visiting my son. We were made to feel very welcome, the accommodation suited us down to the ground. We had a double room and Family room. The family room had a double room and a double sofa bed in the front room with ensuit and small kitchen... More

On arrival we were very warmly welcomed by the owner, who showed us our very well appointed rooms. As The Coach House is "off the beaten track", it is delightfully quiet and made for a restful night's sleep. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast. We asked for information on local attractions and were not only given... More

We stayed at The Coach House three weeks ago and must say we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Elzabe Davies who runs the B&B is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble for her. The breakfasts were very good and our room very clean and comfortable. We felt so at home on our three night... More

Myself and my partner stayed at the Coach House for only one night when attending a wedding. The lady who runs the coach house is lovely and very helpful, she is attentive to her guests needs and has some lovely stories to tell about her guest house. We paid around £50 for the night for two with breakfast which was... More

I wasn't actually a guest of this B&B myself, however, our entire wedding party was staying with Elzybe and her sons for an extended weekend and we were back and forth several times over that time. I could not have asked for anyone more wonderful to look after our closest family and friends! The decor may be a little dated... More

Simple homely B&B with very kind and friendly owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Quiet and secluded location - would be a great place to stay for walking or just exploring the area. Very good value for money. I was in a single room with a shared bathroom but others were little flats with a kitchen - ideal for a... More
