The fact that we were happy to return to Anstey Hall says it all. It has lost none of its quirky charm and is excellent value for staying in an old country style house so close to Cambridge. Whilst old and displaying faded elegance with a fascinating variety of paintings and artefacts, there is something appealing about it all. If...

If you are looking for a quirky, historic venue with warm and friendly staff, then this is the place. Nikki (Event Co-ordinator) helped us create the prefect wedding for the happy couple and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and a reasonable choice of breakfast options.

Attended a wedding, wonderful friendly helpful staff, well stocked bar, nothing was too much trouble, cannot recommend enough, seriously thinking of booking for a party. Accommodation in the hall is historic, four poster beds in rooms, such wonderful additions of paintings and its like being in a museum where you can touch the objects. Loved it. !

We had our wedding here on Friday and can honestly say we were blown away. From our very first visit Tracy, and then Nikki, the wedding planners were incredibly helpful and were open to all of our ideas on what we wanted to do. The building itself is great, with a really cosy atmosphere and an antique feel, what we...

I stayed recently here for a single night on business. It's a beautiful building, dating back to the 17/18th century according to its owner. Eclecticism abounds, and each room and hallway is made up of varying antiques and bits/bobs. My room was comfortable, and had a four poster bed, bath, and separate shower. I didn't get to sample the bath,...

This is not your usual B&B and is all the better for it. Anstey Hall is comfortable offering a good breakfast in stylish surroundings furnished with antiques and curios. The honesty bar is a hit and you can play billiards if you wish. Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and well furnished. The location on the outskirts...

This was an imposing building on arrival and I loved the open hearth and hallway. The hotel dates back to the 1700s and had an eclectic mixture of household contents throughout. My room was basic but comfortable. The shower however did not function properly and was either too hot or too cold. Breakfast was more than adequate and I loved...

Truly beautiful building with wonderful decor. Such great value so close to a world class and world renowned city. I've done a few of the grand Cambridge hotels, best until now being Hotel du Vin and also a stay at Nobleo, but this for value, history and beauty (we stayed in room 3 in the main house) was top. Combined...

The breakfast has been commented on. I found it to be nice. Coffee and toast how do you get that wrong Would I...
