Two night stay on a trip back to England. An old country house with some converted outbuildings. Not bad, not great. Maybe the main house is OK but stayed in converted stables. Cheap refurb by smelling be with the most bizarre taste in furnishing. Thin walls so you can hear

Lovely hotel - with our room/en-suite being brill. Breakfast was really nice - but slightly on cold side when we got there about 9.15am. But the chef was great and I think had we been bothered by this greatly, he would have probably (possibly?) cooked something fresh! Very

What an incredible hotel! We had the pleasure of staying here pre-Christmas whilst our dog was in the nearby Queens Veterinary Hospital and it was booked initially on the location, but what a gem. It is run by a truly delightful family who are so friendly and helpful, as are the

I've stayed in 4 different hotels in the 2 months of this holiday season and Anstey Hall was the quietest and most comfortable. Arriving to see it's grand structure is impressive, especially when lit up in the evening. Plenty of parking is available, but without proper spots

Is there an additional charge for dogs ?
Where exactly is it?
Have to disagree with the view that it's a "badly run dump" - it's a very relaxed B&B, their view is that you are staying in their house, not a hotel. It's not the place if you want to be waited on hand and foot, but it's great to be able to relax and wander as you want (also fun to have an honesty bar as well!) It's easy to find at the end of Maris Lane where it joins Church Lane (there's a pin for Anstley Hall Events in Google Maps!)
