Booked the ambassador lodge on recommendation from friends and we were certainly impressed. Not far from Cambridge centre and very reasonably priced. We were warmly greeted by the owners. The room was spotlessly clean. Bed and breakfast only oh but the breakfast I had a full English first class. My partner had kippers from Craster Northumberland again first class. There...

Phil and Fizz really went out of their way to accommadate three unexpected guests. What could have been a difficult situation was instead a very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend. Many Thanks

We stayed 2 nights at the Ambassador Lodge. It is a very high standard. Breakfast outstanding. Room was spacious and fully equipped. Bed comfortable. Peaceful location. Price of £68 pounds per night (as of November 2016) for double en-suite room was very good value for location, standard of accommodation and food. Decor immaculate. We were well catered for and would...

Stopped at this b and b as was attending a family party in the village and was not at all disappointed. We had a twin room which was lovely and clean, plenty of storage and an ensuite. The room was very quiet and we had a fantastic nights sleep. In the morning at breakfast we had a selection of cereals,...

We stayed at the Ambassador Lodge for 3 nights. Because the twin room was already booked when we phoned, we got the family room set up as twin. Spacious roon with one double bed and a single. Very adequate! The shower room was small, but everything you need is in there. Wifi works brilliantly. Phil serves breakfast and the choice...

Very comfortable and welcoming. The room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was very good and I was given an early breakfast when I had to start work early. Milton has some lovely pubs for evening meals, especially the Lion and Lamb.Location was easy to find.

Stayed here on a short holiday break and found it to be comfortable and friendly. The owners Fizz and Phil were nice enough and you can more or less choose any breakfast combination. I don't know why one previous contributor criticised the breakfast- it was OK by my book. I did notice that all the other guests appeared to be...

Stayed here while I in Cambridge with my choir and partner. Nice room with own shower room but window look over main road so would be noise in the summer. Breakfast was all right if you like English food. Friend lady owner.

This place seemed to be very over rated and not really worth your money, it is mentioned to have a breakfast award, but I found the breakfast to be very questionable , and certainly have had far better. There seemed to be a very strained atmosphere about the place, which made for a very uncomfortable stay, but on the plus...
