Very nice hotel, with beautiful views. Rooms were okay and each had a private terrace. The service was very pleasant, and the waiter was paying much attention to everybody and was very helpfully with choosing the right food for my glutenintolerance. They even made special cookies for me.

This delightful property is ideal for a restful stay whilst offering so much of interest in the area. Escape form the busy city of Santiago and enjoy wine tasting, natural parks, beaches and plenty more, all within easy reach. The hotel is comfortable, the restaurant very good, the staff very welcoming.

Lovely welcome from excellent staff. Superb setting amongst well tended gardens. Clean and spacious room. Wide choice of menu items and the food is well presented. Good breakfast. After nearly three months in Argentina and Chile this hotel is the best we stayed in. Well worth the short detour off of the Ruta 5

I stayed at Hacienda Cristina for 2 nights and I really enjoyed my stay. From the reservation to the departure all staff was really helpful and friendly and going the extra mile. I can highly recommend the Restaurant. The food is really good. Thank you for these great days!

An oasis in the middle of semi-desert terrain. Encompasses many acres of land and lucky enough to have sufficient water access. And somewhere in the middle of that - a very nice hotel and a restaurant.
We used it as a base for multiple excursions in the area and we're very thankful for helping us solve problems with our rental car (trying to replace an RFT tyre is difficult in the middle of nowhere - for the reference - always check what tyres you're getting and opt for the standard ones that can be repaired within an hour at any local shop).

A true Hacienda transformed into a hotel. Equiped with swimming pool, big restorant and an explosion of flowers in the big garden and rooms with private terrace in front of them. A good stop for people who go and come back from the North. Very kind and always available the manager of the hotel, Juan Pablo.
Very close to the hotel, it is the wonderfull national park of Fray Jorge, a piece of nature absolutely mandatory to visit. For whom that have some day to spend there, there is the possibility to get some excursions with their horses.

The family owned Hacienda Santa Cristina is a rare and wonderful find in the Limari Valley. Juan Pablo and his staff offered personalized service from my first inquire right through to the time of check out. They provided a clean, comfortable, and safe playpen for my daughter to sleep in at no extra charge. Meals could be eaten in their beautiful restaurant, or ordered to the room also at no extra charge. We enjoyed dinner on our private patio on the final night of our stay. Breakfast, included in the price of the room, was plentiful and included fresh baked rolls, avocado, meat, cheese, a fruit plate, scrambled eggs and fresh squeezed orange juice. Oranges, lemons and avocados used in the restaurant are grown on site. The horseback ride they offer gives a wonderful view of the valley's fields and orchards and the surrounding mountains, and the wood fired hot tubs were a great way to relax in the evening. There was also a small playground which my daughter enjoyed. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the swimming pool while we were there, but the pool and patio area looked like an inviting place to spend a summer afternoon. Initially I chose to stay here with my family because of its proximity to Parque Fray Jorge, and Valle del Encanto. However, if I am lucky enough to return again, it will be because of the exceptional service and wonderful atmosphere. There are many examples of the staff going above and beyond that we experienced on our visit. Owner and manager Juan Pablo personally helped us carry our bags in. When our plans unexpectedly changed he helped us plan different activities, printed maps to our new destination, and give us personalized directions. We could not ask for a better host!

This is a simple but lovely hotel within an easy drive to Frey Jorge National Park and not too far from Rt 5. It was a nice alternative to Elqui which is a longer drive and more difficult to do for a weekend from Santiago. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds of the property are gorgeous. I have never seen so many hummingbirds in my life. Our young daughter loved exploring and playing with the hotel dogs. We took a horseback ride, too. The food was fantastic and fresh: we loved the fresh cactus fruit juice and other treats from the hotel's garden. We ended up staying an extra day just to enjoy a lovely Sunday lunch before driving back to Santiago. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful.

We went for 2 nights and enjoyed every single bit of our stay. The morning horseriding sessions (included in the free activities) was lead by an amazingly patient and lovely old guide who took amazing care of the kids who do not have horseriding experience. I went riding with a 1 year old baby as well and never felt unsafe during the 1 and a half hour session. The gardens are stunning, the food really nice, the service and people very friendly and professional. It is in the middle of nowhere but it cannot be in any other place... the location defines it. I will drive many kilometres to go again! The rooms are nicely decorated but a bit crammed for a family of 5, I wish they could add a bigger family room to the premises to make the stay absolutely perfect! Why would I go to any chain group after this experience.... this is how one should experience Chile!
