We had a lovely 3 night stay here We were in the room is at the front (pink room) with fabulous views of the sea The room was quiet, peaceful and very comfortable 2 armchairs which you don't always get in a double room The en suite is small but don't let that put you off The coastal path is...

Friendly host, comfy room with fantastic views across the traeth and an excellent breakfast. TV and WI FI available. Some great walks on the coastal path in both directions toward Black Rock sands or to Porthmadog.

Probably the best view in north Wales.Ideally placed just a mile from portmadog. A short walk and you are on the beach. With portmerion and cricieth nearby. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe's locally. Your host is charming lady and keeps very high standards, along with a wonderful cooked breakfast.

Having booked this trip well in advanced we arrived at 5.00pm to be greeted by the owner and be told within seconds that heating not on and she would find us somewhere else which apparently after several calls and no one answering never happened leaving us to try and find a place at short notice on our own thanks to...

We found Bron Afon in our Rough Guide to Wales one day as we were looking for a place to stay that same night. We received a very warm welcome over the phone and were told when we showed up hungry that we could check in later as long as we made it back by eleven. This was so helpful...

The owner is a lovely woman who makes sure you are comfortable and has what you need, but leaves you to your own devices. The location is really lovely if you enjoy walking along the long scenic path which is literally at the front of the house. The walk will take you to the beach and has great views of...

Lovely comfortable and quiet - instant access to the coast path. You can walk in to Porthmadoc (the Ship Inn is good for evening meals) in about 15 minutes. Using Tesco carrier bags in the waste basket just seems eminently sensible recycling to me.

The location is superb with rooms overlooking the estuary and mountains. Bedroom was a good size with a small bathroom. The rooms were clean but required a little more attention to detail. An example the plastic bag in the waste basket was a Tesco carrier bag. Breakfast although good could do with a little better presentation. The cereals were in...

An excellent value bed an breakfast, scrupulously clean in an excellent location with a friendly landlady. To nit pick it would have benefitted from a hair dryer and a vegetarian choice for breakfast but otherwise it was excellent.

Just back from a short break in Porthmadoc/Borth-y- gest. Bron Afon has a delightful situation right beside the coastal path with panoramic sea views. A pleasant 15 minute walk takes you into Porthmadoc. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable with armchairs, tea/coffee making facilities and an excellent flat screen TV. The en-suite bathroom was small but adequate, The hostess...
