Restaurant visit only. Modern extension with the look and feel of a funeral home. Miserable staff who never cracking a smile. Over two hours for two course meal, no customer service. Food standard fayre, enjoyable but overpriced. Would normally recommend to friends and family. Worth a visit if you are not one for customer service or atmosphere of any kind.

We have just had a two night stay at the Bell Inn which we chose as it has a fully accessible bedroom/bathroom. Access to the ground floor room is easy with its own parking space. Everywhere was very clean and the breakfasts were excellent. We ate in the restaurant one evening and enjoyed the food, although we were defeated by... More

Haven't visited the Bell for years, what a pleasant evening. It's very clean, comfortable and well lit. A great menu with interesting daily special board too. Well presented and tasty food. Will definitely return again soon.

Very helpful and attentive staff, let down by the food. Chips were dry and the green vegetables bland, no taste to food and fish not entirely cooked through. A great disappointment. We will not revisit

Have been visiting the Bell on and off for 20 years or more, and it recently changed hands so we thought we'd give it a look, and see how the new owners were getting on. We enjoyed very friendly and helpful service, and the food was great, very tasty and good portions. There's not a lot to fault this place... More

Visited this place by chance after a terrible experience at the Llanerch Inn. This place is far superior and should have a higher rating. Very friendly and helpful service. The food was great, very tasty and good portions (see picture). One of the few places where medium rare means medium rare. I can't fault this place and I would definitely... More

I recently visited the Bell for a birthday celebration and was very pleasantly surprised, for no dark and musty country pub is this. The décor is modern, light and airy and the place as clean as a whistle, a visit to the gents, often the very poor relation of the services ladies enjoy, showed that the light, modern theme was... A year on since our last stay, and things are still as good! No evening meal this time (pity!) as we had been booked in at a restaurant elsewhere by other members of our rally team. However, the room was as clean and comfortable as my first stay, and the welcome just as friendly. The beer was again on top... More

We booked to have a staff Xmas meal here and was looking forward to it as I had not been in there since it had changed hands. We were a bit disappointed. The good was OK but the there was a distinct lack of vegetables on the plate and when it came to the Xmas pudding dessert it was the... More
