Called there twice recently, helpful staff, very Good food, reasonably priced. Allowed dogs in the bar area whilst we were eating. Had a pint of Rev. James bitter, the beer is kept well, not too cold like lager.

The hostelry was built for thirsty drovers taking their stock from West Wales to the markets of Gloucester and Hereford. Yes, I think children would be welcome and catered for. Sometimes service can be a little on the slow side so take plenty of things to do!
