My husband and I stayed here just for one night. The staff were nice and friendly. We stayed in the older part of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. There is a separate livingroom area. The only problem was the hot water or none at all in the shower. We ate our lunch in the restaurant the food...

On arrival we were met by the very friendly reception team and shown to our Executive Room. The room was beautiful and the view of Ben Nevis and Neptunes Staircase from our balcony and bed was incredible. Lying in bed watching the moon rise behind Ben Nevis is a vision I will never forget. Ps the shower in this room...

Everything is good for this hotel, except the shower! The water pressure is not strong enough so the water is so slow, I got so annoyed during the shower. Other than that, the stay was very pleasant. The room is so big that we have our own cozy sitting room!

Treated ourselves to a room upgrade and it was definitely worth it, stunning views over 'Neptunes staircase' and onwards to Fort William and the Great Glen including Ben Nevis on a clear day. Although it was a bit dull and damp whilst we stayed, it is one of the most beautiful views to wake up to and walk out onto...

Am currently sitting in the balcony of my room taking in the surrounding views of Ben nevis and the canal. Beautiful location for a hotel. The room a superior double is just spectacular. Special thanks to Audrey, I believe her name was, who organised a bottle of champagne to be waiting in our room on arrival. 10/10 will return in...

This hotel does not look much from the outside but the hotel has clearly spent money on a significant internal refurbishment. We stayed in one of the new executive rooms at the rear of the property overlooking the canal. The room was a good size and was very well equipped with a great en-suite bathroom. We ate in the hotel restaurant...

We booked an executive room in the extension, and were delighted to find that this had a balcony overlooking Neptune's staircase. No barges to look at though!! The restaurant food was mostly good, opinion is of course subjective. Friendly staff, large comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Just the job for a reasonably-priced stopover on the way north.

First time in the area and impressed with the hotel. Great view from room window of Neptune's Stairway and if the weather had been been better we might have seen all of Ben Nevis. Lunch in the Bistro when we arrived could have been bigger portions and warmer. Room was big and bed really comfy.. bathroom was spotless. Plenty of...

This turned out to be an excellent hotel, the bedroom was very spacious and was very well equipped. The Bistro restaurant had an extensive menu and the bar served a wide range of drinks in particular Scotch whiskey! The hotels location and it's outlooks are unique. All the staff wherever they worked were very professional, polite and helpful.

A lovely little hotel with excellent views. The room in the new extension was very large and included a full size sitting room. The only downside was there was nowhere to put your suitcases.
