Gracious, welcoming, completely immersed in the Carnic Alps, at the foot of the steep streets that climb inside the village, the Hotel Restaurant "La Perla" pampers its guests in a familiar and elegant environment. The day passes pleasantly, in a romantic escape between snowy landscapes and traditional recipes. Upon waking up in one of the lovely rooms, furnished with simplicity and good taste, just look out the window to immerse yourself in the total silence of the snow-covered mountains and the magical morning light. There are lifts just outside the hotel and the temptation to spend a day on the snow is too strong to give up. After sport it's time to relax, making use of the hotel's wellness center for a sauna, a Turkish bath or, even better, a regenerating hay bath. At nightfall it is time to taste the local cuisine, a cuisine rich in flavors, made up of well-presented dishes inspired by tradition. And to end the day there is nothing better than gathering around the characteristic "fogolar", sitting in front of the fire, enjoying a good wine and being told one of the many legends of the place, animated by spiteful goblins and dancing fairies, up to be surprised by a magical and peaceful sleep

Detailed Reviews
We (2 adults, a child and a dog) spent 5 days in the first half of January. This was our second visit to the Ravascletto and hotel La Perla and it will not be our last visit. The hotel is very cosy and clean, the staff very helpful and friendly and meals we had are extraordinary. There were always some local dishes prepared with local ingredients and the choice was really great. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the Zoncolan ski area cableway. We also enjoyed the spa and pool area. I would recommend this ski area and particulary the hotel to all families and ski lovers!

I stayed here one night on a Dolomites bicycling trip.
This is a fairly large hotel that probably caters more for winter skiing.
It's a pleasant location in a little village, but there's not much going on locally in the summer.
It was a good place to stay while traversing the region.
My room was quite large, nicely outfitted, with a little balcony and a pretty nice view over the valley up to Mount Zoncolan.
The restaurant was very good for dinner, with an especially good wine list.
Breakfast next morning was good.

We stayed at this hotel in June during a motorbike tour.
Arrived in the evening and parked bikes in front of the hotel, just next day we were told there is a garage which can be used (extra charge).
I suppose it was the rush because there were several international ski teams for some grass ski competition. This was very obvious in the morning when they raged the breakfast room, staff from hotel was not able to fill the plates as fast they were empty (no complain) ;) Nevertheless breakfast was very good and for us a good variety.
In the evening we decided to go to a full pizzeria 5 min walk from the hotel which was very good (completely full).
Room was huge and clean with a big balcony – so more than satisfied for our needs.
The spa I cannot rate as it closes at 20:30 and we arrived later.
So overall clearly to recommend and a nice place for starting tours!

We went to this hotel recently for school skiing excursion (from Hungary). The travel time from Budapest is reasonable (6-7h) and comfortable by highway almost till the end with beautiful landscapes on the way.
Hotel is located close to the slopes which have various complexities and once you send kids for skiing with instructors (we brought them with us from K2 and were great) you can enjoy wellness section (with comfortable swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna) or take relaxing walk in area by the soothing stream or take massage.
I did some skiing too and was great as no pressure to do it all day long with lots of bars with hot wine on the way 😉.
Well, I loved it there in spite of too much meat in the dinner menu and weak (and paid) wifi - or maybe because of that 😉.

Great pool, not many activities in the region but great place for a stop between Italy and Austria, restaurant is charming, good quality food, great wines. Probably a great place for skying, is at walking distance from the first slopes. Staff friendly and family opened, to recommend.

Our three night stay was truely memorable for all the best of reasons. Booked months in advance from Austalia, the booking process was easy and our welcome when we arrived was as if we were family returning home.
Our family room was clean, spacious and the view from our windows amazing.
Breakfast was plenitful and full of variety. Dinners were delicious with plenty of choice. The bar, fire and lounge areas were warm and delightful to relax in. The pool and associated facilites were an added bonus.
BUT best of all was the New Years Eve function. An amazing meal that just kept on going, bountiful wine and live music that played continuouly for over 5 hours.
ALL the staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous providing excellent service.
How good??? Well our 14 year old daughter wants to know when we're going back there again - that means alot.
Grazie mille for a fantastic stay and an unforgetable New Year Eve and New Year welcome.

I have just returned from Malta after having spent a week with my wife and three children at the Hotel La Perla. We stayed on a half board basis and our rooms were very good, clean and we had an amazing view of the mountians, sheer bliss, breakfast was really good too with excellent food and service as was dinner. To add to all this all the staff are extremly friendly and helpful. They even helped us organise a day trip to Udine which is beatiful and also to Venice.
I have travelled thoughout the globe and stayed at numerous hotels ranging from 3 to 5 star and this hotel even has a fully eqiupped spa ! Opposite is Mt Zoncolan which is brillliant for skiing, andthe scenery is breathtaking. I fully recommed it, one of our best holdays we have ever had!

The hotel is located in small mountain resort Ravascletto and you can see it from the main road.
Overall it is quiet good hotel - maybe not very good but really higher than average: good sized and clean room (our room was very dark because some trees overshadowed the window), nice staff (some of them don't speak english - be ready use your Italian), quiet good interior and garage for parking motorcycle. The only big minus is food: breakfast was worst I've ever get in all Italy (such kind of smashed juices you can get in hostels or in Egypt, but not in 4-stars in Europe, very poor breakfast buffet), the food in restaurant was ok but quiet expensive.

We have spent three days in Ravascletto at the Hotel La Perla. The area is very pleasant, quiet and relaxing. At the same time there are many hiking, walking and biking itineraries and opportunities. We have been welcomed by the warm hospitality of the hotel owners who really went out of their way to make our stay the nicest possible. The hotel restaurant is very good and we very much appreciated the special attention dedicated to local products and traditional food.
We will certainly come back in winter for a skiing weekend and would highly recommend this hotel to others
