On a former yerba mate plantation, this lodge is a good option when visiting Iguazu Falls. It's 40 minutes from the Falls by car but offers a much more atmospheric experience than the hotels in Puerto Iguazu. We stayed two nights which meant we had time to explore the Bemberg property (with terrific guide Marcos explaining some of the history)...

We spent the afternoon here - late flight back to BA - and were thoroughly delighted. We had a fantastic lunch on the veranda overlooking the river views. We retired to the library / salon for our desserts. We took an hour nature walk with a guide and were super impressed with his knowledge of the environment and the history...

We spent one night here on our way from the wetlands to iguazu falls. I think the website is a bit misleading. The hotel is in need of a serious makeover. It's a bit tired. We checked in and got to our room and the air con was as low as it could go at 16 but the room was...

Wonderful hotel in the Missiones region of Argentina. Keep in mind that this hotel is about an hour south of Iguazu and the Falls. But the hotel can hire a car for you to and from the falls ($100 round trip) and you're better off just making your own arrangements for touring the national park and falls. The best part...

Our tour organiser persuaded my wife & I to stay here "as she'd got a special rate", and she thought it was the type of accommodation we would like. We spent 5 nights there and she was so right! The hotel is about 3 Km from the nearest village (Puerto Libertad) down a very bumpy track and is set in...

A friend and I stayed here to relax and also visit the Iguazu Falls. Very welcoming. Rooms very nice and typically Argentinian. Beds comfortable. No Wi Fi in room but available for free in the restaurant and lounge. Free morning and afternoon Guide who took us around the large grounds and talked about the ecology and History. Nice pool and...

We booked 2 nights at Don Puerto lodge at the end of our honeymoon. First impression was mixed. Humid tropical climate made you melt and electricity didn't work making our room a bit smelly and super hot! But second impression was great. This place is lovely. If you look for relaxation in the nature, this is a place worth visiting....

We cannot say enough good things about this incredible lodge in the middle of Misiones forest. The staff was warm, attentive and helped us enjoy every moment of our stay. As vegans, they accommodated us with some incredible creations. Room service came promptly when we decided not to go down to the kitchen. Our room was exquisite as well, on...

The surroundings are beautiful and there is an amazing terrace, with hammocks, which overlooks the Atlantic rainforest but if you are using this as a base to visit iguasu only then you may want to re-think your hotel choice. We used the hotel as a base for a one day visit to the argentine side and then the next day...

After leaving the beaches of Uruguay and getting eaten by mosquitos, we were prepared for the worst in Iguazu. We needn't have worried! The resort does a wonderful job of keeping the rooms bug-free. The accommodations are simple, but beautiful. This is definitely a step above "glamping." Everyone saw to our every need. It is a small place so we...
