A wonderful house overlooking the valley, at the end of a long drive, but the welcome was worth it. Beth and Andrew were lovely hosts, very friendly and chatty, and made us very welcome. Our room was large and comfortable, with great amenities and a super view. Coed Mawr is very handily placed for many of north Wales attractions -...

We have been to many B&Bs over the years, but this was the best. Friendly hosts, great welcome with delicious coffee and Welsh cakes, beautiful large clean room with views over the valley and a splendid breakfast - freshly cooked hot food, with a number of options on the menu. Fantastic. A really special place.

I spent a really delightful (sadly all too brief) stay in Coed Mawr Hall before setting off on a couple of days wild camping in the surrounding hills. if I'd known the room I'd booked myself into was going to be as nice as it was I'd have probably left the tent at home and just spent a few days...

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if we were part of the family. After our long drive the coffee and welsh cakes were a very welcome treat. An extra touch, above and beyond! Coed Mawr is beautifully decorated, king size beds and feather duvets meant a fab nights sleep. Breakfast includes a wide choice, beautifully made with...

We first visited Coed Mawr in August 16 with our Granddaughter and had a great time, so we rebooked immediately to come back. Weather not the best but it doesn't detract from the fact that this is a very special place to stay. Beth and Andrew make you feel at home the moment you arrive. Tea and Welsh cakes, just...
