A great two night break. Rooms were "shabby chic" (stayed in Windsor) and fitted us down to the ground, clean, tidy and secluded, set away from the pub itself. Breakfast and dinner was excellent & very well presented, with a great atmosphere and ambience in the pub in both evenings. We went to Oxford on the saturday as its only...

I have decided that as summer come to an end I am going to try out a few of the local favourites to find the best Sunday roast around here. I started with The Crown. We showed up without a reservation at 14:15. Not very bright I know as such a popular place. No surprise all the tables were taken....

Very tired after a long day @ work and a long drive to get home so late night check in (very accommodating!) great room in the Windsor room at the end of the block. Opened the door and was blown away at the lavish decor of the room, to then be equally impressed with a very spacious stylish bathroom.. WOW!...

We stayed in The Crown in December 2015 for our wedding anniversary after purchasing a dinner, bed and breakfast deal through secret escapes. We paid £130. The rooms are separate to the main building with a private seating area outside your room door which we, as smokers, were appreciative of and one of the reasons I booked the hotel. It...

I booked for 3 for Wed 7 Sept. Asked not to be near bar, door or toilets. Seated next to toilets. Waitress arrived after 20 minutes and apologised for delay, but with no reason. Twenty minutes later I went to find waitress and ask where bread and olives were. Order had been lost but was now in hand and we...

We stayed at the Crown Inn last weekend for one night. It's in a very quiet location but a stones throw from some lovely places to visit. We had a nice welcome from the friendly lady on reception who showed us to our room. We were in Claremont room which is in a row of 10 beautifully converted stables. Our...

Used to be a pub but now more of a restaurant with few rooms. Very busy night, our party filled the banquet barn making it a bit of a squeeze for the waitresses & guests to move around. Food was mostly good although desserts were over sweet for some of us.

We're just home from my 70th birthday celebration at the Crown, there were 35 of us served so well last night. The food was truly outstanding and the staff some of the best I have experienced. It went like clockwork and was a hoot! Secret I think was some detail planning with Kai the events coordinator beforehand. Overall extremely impressed...

Booked online for an overnight stay. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room clean and spacious with all we needed in it...hairdryer, fan, kettle, courtesy toiletries, small table and chairs on patio area outside room, etc. We had an evening meal and breakfast which were both excellent.
