They took money from an 81 year old great grandma on oxygen then called the police and made her leave but yet they let drug dealers and drug users stay there and say nothing. The room was nasty. Drug dealers and users were all over the place.
great quiet comfortable hotel beds are pretty hard and the maintenance lady is serious about counting her towels and will not give you an extra towel if you have long hair but not bad at all. Out of the two rooms I stayed in both were pretty clean only seen one roach
Made reservation through Hotels.com for a single evening. Tried phoning the hotel a number of times to let them know I would be running late and to keep the room for me-just kept going to answering machine message. When I got there, the place is going through a remodel so construction materials were all over and parking spaces were limited. I checked in and was lucky to find one last parking space in front of my room but when I used the room key I was unable to open the door-the door latch worked but the door would only move 1/4 of an inch and no more. I went to the night clerk to get help but even she could not get the door to work. I asked if she could just move me to another room but she told me that because of homecoming there were no more rooms and I would get a refund so I could go somewhere else. I tried calling to see if there were any rooms available nearby but again, it was homecoming so no dice. I ended up driving another 20-30 minutes to find a place and finally got a room on the south side of the city at a Super 8 that fortunately had a room. Now if I could only get ahold of someone at the Air View to process my refund back onto my card! BTW, you cannot cancel a reservation here once you've made it without getting charged for it.…
Room smelled like a smoker has been in it even though it was a non smoking room. One of the hand towels was dirty. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. You get what you pay for, it was cheap. I would spend a little more for a clean room and clean linens.
On the SAME road as the Air Museum. Tim Hortons next door too! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and although older is well kept. This location is great for the Air Museum, just south a very little bit, and North back to the I75 straight up and easy too.
