I love cooking in camp ovens and when I heard about the out back cook off, I booked accommodation and off we went. Had the best weekend. The hotel was rocking all weekend when we arrived we picked up the food they supplied and planed...More
We have loved staying there before but sadly it is still closed when we passed in July from its summer closure.
Would be great to see it come back to life as it is in a very interesting part of the Flinders and would compliment...More

Not sure what your question is, but we took a UK couple to Blinman as part of an outback experience. It is unique, as is the town which doesn't have much to it. If you get there in time there is a tour of the old copper mine, and there are some good drives in the adjacent gorges - best if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The hotel proprietor looked after us well - we were there for Pitza night (the only meal choice) and they left a very good serve yourself breakfast for us the next morning as we were leaving early. Hope that helps.
