Captains Paradise is a luxury boutique hotel. The rooms are provided with high class fittings & amenities. We have taken utmost care in designing this simple yet luxurious boutique hotel with special care for rooms insulation & sound proofing. All rooms & flooring are designed with a view of senior citizens & disabled guests. Guests can go for long therapeutic walks and bird watching, can also sit back and relax in garden featuring various types of seasonal fruits and plants. The homestay is a cosy base to soak in Uttarakhand’s beauty, go on jungle treks and sit back and gaze the stars. We have 8 luxurious rooms with a sitting area and private sit outs. the rooms have a private bathroom fitted with a rain showers and toiletries. All rooms have large private balconies & insulated windows to experience uninterrupted scenic views. Rooms are well equipped with Oil radiator heaters, choice of pillows, 10” spring luxury mattresses and many other amenities. Rooms balconies & windows are east facing & provide early morning sun, which is a boon especially during winter months. You wake up to the fresh mountain air, chirping birds and rays falling on your window. Captains Paradise is well connected to the motorable road & have ample parking space inside the compound, the place offers endless hiking trails through thickly forested hills, mesmerising sunrises, sunsets, delicious food, tranquil surroundings. Nestled in between apricot, plum, apple trees & oak trees, this is a remote yet luxurious homestay. The property offers utmost privacy, and one can relax in calm and peaceful surroundings. It is away from the hustle and bustle of city. The place offers complimentary Wifi & is also well connected to mobile data providers like Jio, Airtel & Vodaphone Idea. Our restaurant with many seating options offers picturesque views during the day & offers a la carte menu with choice of Indian, Chinese & Continental cuisine and endeavour to use local organic fruits, vegetables & herbs for cooking & salads.
An amazing place for someone looking to escape the city life and rejuvenate. We stayed there for 4 nights. A deluxe room with balcony. Room is almost like a studio apartment with area of around 600sq.ft. ! The attention to detail can be seen in the finishing of the room and bathroom. Memory foam pillows, clean sheets and one of the best mattresses I’ve come across in any resort. The staff, though limited, is very enthusiastic. The area is away from any hustle-bustle of road traffic. Chauli ki jaali and Mukteshwar Mahadev mandir are just across the valley on the facing mountaintop. Though the winding mountain roads make the distance about 14 km. The panoramic window has double-sheeted sound proof glass, which was so effective that we couldn’t realise the thunderstorm at night. Finally the best part is food. The meals were tailored to our specifications. The food was freshly prepared, delicious and very very reasonably priced. Overall the stay was amazing. The rooms felt like the owner made it for himself. The uploaded photos don’t do justice to the property.

It’s is indeed paradise, the rooms are very spacious, clean with well appointed full length glass windows and balcony for magnificent views of the mountains ( you can see Mukteshwar temple peak). But property alone is not sufficient to make the stay great, and that’s where Sunil Goswami and his staff do full justice to make it a memorable home stay experience. They are very attentive to your needs, and keep everything ready for you just when you need it. It truly feels home away from home.

Captains Paradise, is located in the lap of nature and in forest very peaceful and unique location, far away from hustle - bustle, even the way from main road to C.P. about 50 meters , passing through forest and adventurous. Services at C.P. are also rating wise 5* and excellent, there are 5 persons, in team , well mannered groomed dressed up. Mr. Sunil Goswami, is team leader or manager, who received us from the main road and took us along till the C.P. and there all the team members welcomed us at the main gate of C.P. , it's really impressive. Person. Mr. Nirmal, is in services and kitchen, is very prompt, polite and caring. Overall each 1 of the team members are very caring and interactive and feels like family. Kitchen is too big and looks awesome food is like home made style, only and even you can ordered as per your desired and choices. Having more words to write ... The location of the resort is amazing with well kept rooms, It is a peaceful place to spend your vacation from the hustle bustle of city life. The food in the resort can be customised as per your requirement. The quality of food is good with reasonable price. The rooms are very spacious and are not less than a 5 star hotel. Anitaji the owner was very helpful and the manager Mr.Sunil along with all staff were very Co-Operative. All the rooms have Balconies facing towards the Valley.
I suggest them to include B.Fast with this Price Range.

Everything I have been told about paradise is true, this I came to know during my short stay at Captains Paradise recently in second week of March 2023.
Captains Paradise nestled in acres of orchard full of beautiful flowers and seasonal fruits, the rooms here offer nature and magnificent valley views - a grand landscape etched across the heavens.
Ideal for a brief sojourn, this paradise located at Orakhan (Odakhan), 16.7Km/ 40 minutes drive from Mukteshwar via Bhatelia.
Generous accommodations, complete with all possible amenities and courteous service.
The surroundings are quiet, clean, green and pleasant.
One may enjoy morning in balcony with a book or streching on yoga mat (kept in every room) in complete silence, broken only by cavorting birds.
You could be having a shower in a bathroom bigger than the average Indian bedroom.
The Dining Room in basement is class for its ambience and excellent chef providing choice of good home style Indian or Continental food.
Take a walk amidst the conifer forests or apple, plum, peach, lemon and apricot orchards of Orakhan hamlet.
Trek or drive up the Mukteshwar ridge to nearby Sitla, and have a picnic lunch in the wilderness or trek to Mukteshwar which on clear day offer you almost all the major peaks stretching from Api and Nepha across the Nepal border to the Garhwal peaks including Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, Trishul and Nanda Kot.
There’s magic in the air of Captains Paradise and it will stay with you, long after you are back to your home.

Giving 5 stars doesn't really do justice to the experience! Excellent property, breathtaking views, magnificent staff (Sunil and Santosh especially). Attention is given to the minutest of details. Food is cooked fresh and served with love and affection. If anyone is planning to be near Mukteshwar, then giving this property a miss is a big mistake!

Anyone whose definition of vacation is having a stay at a quiet and peaceful locality, this is just the place for you. I was visiting the hills with my family for a few days to rejuvenate ourselves from our busy schedules. We had a wonderful stay at Captain Paradise. The rooms were neat and tidy with all the facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was prepared fresh and served hot. The view is spectacular and is definitely a strong point of attraction of this homestay.

One of the most beautiful resorts I have ever stayed. Surrounded by mountains and overlooking a valley this resort's location is the best part. Rooms are not less than 5 Star property. Room No 102 beside the reception has an ample space. The staffs were really courteous and helpful. Can't forget Santosh Giri and his morning greetings with a smile. One has an option to eat at dining area or in the balcony of the rooms. Decor and furniture of the rooms are high end and premium. Food was also very nice. One must try Honey Chilli Potato and other Chinese cuisines. We also went for tracking in one morning near the resort. An ideal place for peace, tranquility and a blissful stay.

Captain's Paradise. The location of this homestay is just perfect. The view from all the balconies is breathtaking. The rooms are basically of two categories - Superior and Deluxe. Both have the same view, just that the sizes are different. The property is relatively new and well kept. The housekeeping is good. Bathrooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chef makes good food and can customise to suit your taste buds. The owner is very approachable and is quick to respond and open to feedback. Overall quiet relaxing. Can spend the entire day reading a book in the balcony with a hot cup of coffee. I would rate the overall experience @ 4.6 stars out of 5

You come here and they will make you feel at home, instantly.The staff here are such good hosts. The warmth and service over here is very impressive.
Sunil, who is the Service Manager, took us to a trek to Zero Point, Suicide Point and helped guide us with nearby places that we could opt for sightseeing. He was always just a call away for any query or concern.
Nirmal, took care of every little thing possible and never gave us a chance to complain.
Santosh, on the other hand cooked very homelike, tasty food.
This place is very safe and if you're looking for a peaceful stay for some days near Mukteshwar, I would 10/10 recommend this place.
