Historic accommodation in the heart of Omakau. We provide you with a lovely space for you to relax at the end of your day on the Otago Central Rail Trail or for your Central Otago holiday. The Post Office and telephone exchange has been converted in a fabulous space with huge open plan living room and kitchen. With a various bed options it caters for just about every configuration that a group would need. A surround sound home theatre system tops things off for a movie (or two) before bed. The Post Office is sole occupancy for your group of up to six with a shared bathroom and separate toilet. The Postmasters house provides a homely intimate environment. It is comprised of a King, Queen and twin room, along with separate, dining room, lounge and kitchen. It also has two bathrooms and three toilets. Both properties share a lovely private garden along with spa pool and BBQ.

After our first day and 44km of cycling the rail trail, this accommodation was pure luxury. Spacious, well appointed and beautifully renovated postmaster's house, little treats and extras for enjoyment and comfort. The spa was such a bonus and great for the aches. Perfect breakfast...More

We loved this Accommodation. Port-a-cot supplied for our 18 month old. Our 3 and 7 year slept in another room. Close to the Rail Trail. Great breakfast supplied. With the spa at the end of the day the icing on the cake!
