I booked my stay there from a local travel agent (City Lake Travel, Nainital Mall Road) and faced a mental trauma after visiting this place. We visit these places to find inner peace but experience after visiting this place was more than terrible. When I asked this Local travel agent (City Lake Travel, Nainital Mall Road) about good camps in Pangot, these people (Ritik and Imran) suggested me Hidden Valley, and forwarded me those "highly" editted (including fake) photos of this campsite, and asked me to confirm my booking asap by paying the full amount as they'll forward this to camp and get accommodation confirmed. I clearly said them that I wanted to see this place in-person first (as I was already going Pangot and can see the place and then pay the amount on the site). But persons from City Lake Travel forced me to pay as showing campsite is almost occupied and you won't get the deal. I paid the full amount for a night stay at Hidden Valley to City Lake travel agents (worst decision, but I needed an accommodation asap on seeing the weather, heavy rain and wind). On reaching the location sent by Lake City Agents (Pangot Market) at 6.40 PM (accompanied by heavy rain, remote forest location), I realized there's no "Hidden Valley" campsite there, and on confirming with one of the locals, I got to know that the site is still 3-5 KM away from here. In next 40 minutes, I reached the campsite (due non-motorable road, totally remoted and heavy rain). It was again a task to find the campsite even after reaching the location, as there was no boarding nothing about the camps (or I haven't seen as the entire campsite was dark and not a single bulb was lit). Looking at the weather, I decided to quickly get into the camp. I tried to locate the reception, as it was so dark. Then 2 housekeepers appeared. I asked why there's no lights here and how other guests are adjusting in this dark remote location. One person said, there's no one staying in the camp and you are the only one came. I was a bit shocked, but asked to give me a room tour as weather was becoming worst and I need to change my clothes as it was a bit cold due to rain. On entering the camp, it was totally dark again. I again said to at least switch on the light so that I can see what's there. One of the persons somehow switched on the light inside the camp and within few seconds electricity went and it was dark again, and on confirming it again, they said there's no power backup here and you have to stay as is (alone in this whole location + bad weather + no electricity). I even asked if I can get a lantern or something so that I can change and sleep at least (they didn't have that as well). The best part here is there was no mobile signals (I was relaying on campsite WiFi as they did mention this) but there was nothing there. I somehow moved out from there and located another campsite (just 5 minutes from Hidden Valley) and stay there. There I got WiFi and mobile signals. On calling City Lake agency and discussing about the whole scene, they confirmed refund won't be possible due to T&C and also, you have to call them early (but how? No signals there) Now I am following up with them for the refund but no one is able to resolve the issue (or tries to understand my situation). Travel agent is saying camp owner is not responding for the refund. I don't know who's the responsible party, but I want my refund back asap as I haven't stayed at camp location for more than 10 minutes. It was worst experience ever, I won't recommend anyone to visit Hidden Valley. Attaching a pic which I clicked why moving out from Hidden Valley..

I visited this place 2 days back with my family and friends. I was disappointed with their services and cleanliness. Very unhygienic for kids and families. Service is very poor, u ask for hot water and it comes after an hour that too semi hot. They are not capable of handling huge number of guests, most of the time there is no food left. Amazing!!! The next morning there was no water supply...the staff is not trained... There are some better jungle camps and resorts options available nearby with better amenities and services.

Location is Nice , Nice camp. Service needs to be improved on food and the drinking water is very dirty.limit food will be provided .As we were 13 people and the staff gave us a packet of 2 breads in a break fast with butter and we have requested for more bread, the staff said it was over when we were 13 people in the camp. There is problem of electricity so much that you even can't charge your mobile if anyhow you charged then there is no network.if you ask them from anything they refuse clearly even without trying for it.Customer Satisfaction is nothing for them.

Visited on 9th June, 2018 of this month, Camp is situated 3.5 Km from Pangot main area, means more nature and greenery. Approaching3.5 km road is under construction so you cannot go by tempo traveller or mini bus. You need to park the same outside and hire local taxi “Bolero” (12Pax) that is available in Rs. 150 only. If you are nature lover than this place is ideal for you, enjoy photography, adventure, tracking etc. Camp is situated on the actual Valley so you will get the nature and adventure nearby you. Water fall is very nice, enjoyable and actual tracking experience. but it is not recommended to heart patient/ asthmatic patient as return climb is very tough. Adventure activities are in-house but average. You can enjoy bone fire and DJ speakers (Not DJ) in night Good landscape Food quality is good but staff could not handle big groups like us (25).

Hidden Valley Camp at Pangot Nanital is just the perfect weekend break you have been looking We went there recently with family friends and had a blast. There is unending list of activities there for kids and adults. Food was lipsmacking and staff was extremely cordial. The flying fox adventure sports was a treat for the children. The casual hammocks hung between trees, beautiful walking paths adorned with lanterns, rabbits and peacocks to give you company as you enjoy the sunset . Its a surreal experience you would like to repeat many times. Nights are made super fun with a dance floor and DJ music. Those who love to sing can even grab hold a mic and enthral their friends. Hiking lovers have many opportunities to climb the nearby hills. and even visit nearby villages for some authentic rural experience. The tents are well maintained and security is top notch. Full marks to Hidden Valley Camp for serving as perfect escapade for city dwellers.

We have gone with our family but the hospitality & facilities are at worst. While booking they tell about facilities like its a 5 star but in reality it is not even 1 star. They give food at fixed time like lunch at 2:30-3:00 PM which is unacceptable as its too late to have food and by that time someone will faint by hunger as there is no place nearby where you can go and have something. All promises are false so never ever go in this for camping.
