A place that makes you feel good on so many levels The environment: You get to see the snow capped mountains, deodar trees, birds, crisp air that you feel like packing and bringing back home! The Rooms: cozy, warm and some even have an attic that has a bed, if you want an interesting experience of sleeping in an attic!! The room is not only aesthetically done but has all the comforts of modern living, be it tea coffe, warm water in the winters or room service. They got it all. Service: Amazing service and the staff is courteous and proactive! USP: A lot of thought has gone into making this place environment friendly, it’s green, with amazing flora, you get to see birds! The place is plastic free ( no plastic drinking bottles ). They have used ropes for handles and various other things which I found very interesting!! All in all a wonderful conscientious place that I would love to visit again and again!!

We had an amazing time at Mountain Quail Lodge - the food, the place, the staff everything was just very homely. Beautiful property with some amazing jungle trails to enjoy the calmness of the nature. My beagle girl enjoyed exploring the trails and sniffing around. Thank you Bhavna :)

Of the many places that we searched in and around Nainital, we found this quaint, far from the madding crowd a serene village called Pangot. As it is a tiny hamlet with limited resources, Bhavna and her Mountain Quail Lodge is a perfect place to stay. The cottages are decorated with lot of though and ideas. Besides, they also have cabins for a privacy a couple might look at. Their house staff are very cordial and welcoming and will ensure of fulfilling every need. They have a deal which is a steal at the cost of living comes with all three meals. Enough of sound and crowd all over, if you want to enjoy nature you must visit Pangot and Mountain Quail. Thank you Bhavna 🙂

We were optimistic after seeing the photos of the property but after reaching there it was above our expectations. Place is suitable for all age groups. Not only my one year old but my dad also enjoyed the stay. And apart from the property that made our stay memorable was the hospitality we received from the care takers and the warmth we received from them made us feel at home. Finally kudos to chef for the delicious food.

Pangoot, a small town which has its own identity of showcasing nothing but forest, beauty, fascinating treks, nature walks and much more. Far far away from busy city life Pangoot gives us an opportunity to sit back and live like a villager of 15th century. To add to the experience The Mountain Quail Lodge gives you a feel of the place, an old house converted into a beautiful lodge, which has an antique and bouquet feel to add feather to the hat of your experience. At times words can’t explain what you experience so am I in the same position. A three room well build bouquet house gives you feel of how the world was before everyone moved to the city. This place has one exit to the main road and two exits to the trails which leads you to Naina Peak, if you are not a trekker you then can take a walk by just stepping out of your cottage and you don’t need to reach a place to start trekking. The most important part of any trip is it’s food, delicious Finger licking are a few things I can say. Their mutton curry. Paneer masala, Pahari Kadi, tandoori Kadak Mutton and Suni halwa was icing on the cake. Staff don’t let you stay away from a smile on your face, extremely humble, kind, soft spoken, supportive and the best AVAILABLE as and when you need them. In a nutshell, wow I loved this vacation with my family and I am certainly coming back with my pack of riders soon.
