Pros: This jungle resort is located at a mesmerizing location. Activities like Trekking, Night Safari, Village visit, Bird Watching available at additional cost. No mobile signal. Cut from outside daily routine worries calls.Jio /Airtel is available at fixed spots. Becoz of Bird Sanctuary - Mobile towers are limited. TV with DTH connection and Bonfire Cons: Food - Pathetic. We had all meals plan & even ordered extra dishes to fill our stomach but none of that helped. MMT or the hotel site does not mention that non-veg meal is provided on the request & only at night. After speaking with Resort sales team we got 1 portion of non-veg item as part of package. For non-veg lover, 1 portion is 4 small pieces of chicken @ INR 450. Still, we ordered extra portions all the days we were present. General > Washrooms are not clean & you get Hot water in buckets. Insects in the room but not poisonous. Ignore, its a jungle resort. We extended our stay one day more at a nearby hotel for good food & explore serenity. Thankfully we got delicious food and had tidy washroom with hot running water. Plumber/DTH service provider come from Nanital, so expect delay for the extra services or fix/repair kind of stuff. Nearest big village is Pangot 16 KM far (30 min) from this Resort, so keep snacks & medicines handy. Unfortunately, money from our wallets got stolen during our stay at Kampland. This was 1st time happened with us visiting any hills resort. Be cautious & keep your valuables with you.

One of the best properties in Sigri village. We had gone there in December with a group of friends for birding trip. The temperature was below zero since it was end of December, however the Cozy rooms ensured that we had a comfortable stay. The food is excellent and we even had bonfires at night. They even have an activity room and a small ground for cricket. Overall a must stay and would love to return

The property offers some really great and picturesque views of the Sigri valley. But the property is in a really sad state, almost every part of the property requires a lot of repair and maintenance. The road to the property are fine, but you need to park your vehicle at least 400-500 mtr away from the cottages. And it could be challenge for the elderly people to walk from parking to their rooms. The room looked dirty with a variety of insects flying and crawling all over inside the cottages. The bed sheets were moist, stained and bad smelling. There were a lot of non-functional lights. Toilets were not clean and they require very serious renovation. They are really short of staff and people cooking in the kitchen are also responsible for cleaning the toilets and rooms. May be, it is because of them being overburdened that they usually ignore the basic requests made by the guests. In-fact, they take around 1 hour for bringing tea to your room. BEWARE - If you are there to enjoy some early morning trekking or nature walk, because you don't get water before 6:30-7:00, in any of your bathroom taps. Food quality is just about okay, but the prices are exorbitant. They also charge you Rs. 50+GST, for the regular packaged drinking water bottle having an MRP of Rs. 19/-. The only reasonable person there is Mr. Bhuvan, who manages almost everything there. If you need anything, he is the person to be contacted. Overall it was a very bad experience and we would never visit this resort again.

This place is just superbly located & has the most stunning views of the valley. Sigri is the second last village, so there is a really lush forest nearby. It is cooler & calmer than the other places nearby. You can choose to laze about on their lawns or go on short treks in the forest. The viewpoints are absolutely stunning! Bhuvan is an enthusiastic guide & is a master at bird & animal spotting. We went on a night safari & had an amazing time. The food & service was on point. If you're coming to the rustic parts of the hills & expecting lasagna & chimichanga...then you're an idiot. Our food was delicious. It was more of local affair & North Indian. The staff was very courteous & even customised teas for us. It rained on 2 days out of the 4 that we spent at Kampland, but it didn't dampen our stay or the spirits of the staff here. We got great hospitality & experienced a stunning change in views because of the weather change. Please see the pictures! I'd love to go back to Kampland again!
